Default adding fish to my diet

As a poor college kid nutrition is an uphill battle. Ive been trying to add alot of fish to my diet for the obvious reasons and on my budget its not that easy. I went to a Costco type of place and bought a big ole thing of Lox that i freeze and thaw out about 3 oz over night to eat daily for breakfast either on a bagel or scrambled into my eggs. Is this enough to not take fish oil caps or should i still take them daily seeing how i take about 4 grams of CLA a day and now eat around 3-5 oz of salmon each morning.

more isn't going to hurt you, less isn't going to kill you.

if you can afford to both then by all means do so. if you can't then you can't.

Ideally you want to strive for a 1:1 ratio of your omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids.

If you're anything like me, you're eating a lot of almonds, peanut butter, and other nuts. Additionally, eating meat from grain-fed animals and eating products produced with corn/vegetable/canola oils will likely skew your ratio well away the desirable 1:1. Typical American diets fall in the 20:1 to 50:1 range, largely because of the consumption of vegetable oils in prepared or packaged foods.

I'd stick with the fish oils, and if you can't afford it then just drop the salmon.
