Default Hydrating!

I have to confess, I'm addicted to drinking.....water.

I know I know, that’s a good thing right? Well the problem is the water here at work tastes like crap. It has that weird aluminum taste to it. For years I survived off of bottled water from the vending machines. At a buck a piece, 3-4 a day, it’s adding up. We just bought a house, so I am trying to find an alternative.

Yes, I know I could port in my own from home, but I am notoriously forgetful, so I'm looking for another option.

Recently I have been using crystal light to "spike" my water with enough flavor to cover the taste. It got me thinking about what else I could use to cover up the terrible water taste from here.

Anyone use anything for this? I use crystal light because it is basically no cal/carb/sodium. I also thought that maybe there was something actually good for me I could use. Something with some vitamins or protein would be great, any suggestions?

You could use a Brita filter/container to get some of that out. I have the same problem with the water here at school. So i just keep filling up the brita. I keep it room temp too and still tastes good. Its worth a look but is a little bit of an investment. If you do go that way then get the filters and container from either Costco, BJ's or Sam's. I find that buying them in bulk of 6 filters I can get them about 50% off.

I would agree with the filter idea. Most likely, if the water has a wierd taste to it, it may have something in it that's not that good for you.
