Hey Fish - In that second picture is that a cop getting out in front of the no stopping sign. That always worries me when I'm going down some of the the roads here.

Maybe he thought it would work like a parachute to slow him down, you know since he wasn't wearing a helmet!

Friday. 4 hours, 10 minutes remaining. Just. Cool.

It's a pretty nasty photoshopped image. Notice the chain on the wrong side.

I used to road daily, riding between 30 and 50 miles/day (I had no life). One day I was riding on the parkway outside of Yorktown, VA. Was on the loop rode, as I was heading towards my car to go home I slowed for a corner and some drunk pulled into my lane. I nailed him, taco'd my rim. He got out of his car screaming because I left a nasty dent/gouge in his Buick. Ok, I did kick the sh*t out of his car afterwards, he seemed to bombed to notice. Park Service came and arrested him for driving drunk on federal property or something.

I got my bike fixed, he was nice about it. I thought about going after him since I did get banged up, but he made good on getting my bike fixed. I got new rims/tires and a helmet out of it. Good thing, the rims I had sucked bad.

One bad incident after 6 years of riding in that area, the DAY I moved to Asheville I had some Floridiot run me off the road and keep going, they never found him. Sold the road bike, bought a mtn bike, never looked back.
