Sweet... some old beauties too, that went at great prices. Might need to look for a 'beater' in there.

This really ought to go into my 'Me and My Bike: The Pics Thread', but just for Fish, here's some shots of my baby. Bike porn, indeed.

Centerfold of the Year 2004, this All-American black beauty has sleek lines and beautiful curves. As light and fast as she is pretty, she is known for her extremely quick responsiveness. Family predigree includes 6TdF wins in the last 6 years. Turn-ons: long rides, big glutes, strong finishes. Turn-offs: excuses not to ride, cold rain, rude carowners.

Here's my baby. Yes, the shoes are carbon fiber too.... Specialized Body Geometry Carbon. I just realized, they match the bike's paint scheme.

Closer look exposing what makes her tick. Octalink, Ultegra gruppo, and yes, the water cages are... what else? Carbon fiber.

A look at the sleek butt(ed) lines. Curvy and smooth.

Wouldn't you like to sit on that and ride?

With a flick of the finger on the [brake]hood, I can turn her on, get feedback, find out if I should go faster or slower, and make the entire ride more pleasurable.

I do love my road bike. All-Amercian girl from just up the road in Waterloo Wisconsin - none of that foreign snobbery here. There's another beauty, a redhead who likes it rougher, hanging upside down now in the garage. You have to ride her more carfeully though, because she will buck you off hard if you are not paying attention. But she loves to be dirty.....

Thanks man! Yeah, the paint job, or lack thereof, is called 'nude' by Trek. It's a clear epoxy that lets you see the carbon inlay. More 'porn'.

Kaiser,

That is a sweeet looking road ride. I am partial to black myself. And "carbon" black is tops. I bet that lil betty snaps to attention!

santa cruz.... aaaahhggggghhhgg (making Homer gurgling sounds). oh man that is NICE!

Looks indestructable. I've always liked the chrome look too- reminds me of my freestyle bmx days.

Just back from a ride along the ocean. Santa Monica up to where Sunset meets the water, then up the hills back by Pacific Palisades. Woulda been nicer on that bike though.
