Excellent.

It rained here yesterday and this morning, so the trails are trash now. Sucks because I was off today and I will be off tomorrow.

I'm jealous! I didn't even get outside for a run today...tomorrow should be nice enough though.

How was your ride??

Yeah, it would suck for riding year round in Michigan. On the other hand, you get to go cross country skiing and snowshoeing. I've always wanted to do that but can't in Arkansas.

The ride was great. Only had time for a quick 14 miles down by the river. I had forgotten that they were repairing one of the bridges along the trail which neccessitated a hike-a-bike across the railroad bridge. (cool) It was windy but I kept my average around 18.5 mph.

Joe,
believe it or not, I actually went for a ride the other day. It got up to 82! I only rode 12 miles (out of condition, let me tell you!), but it felt great to pump my legs and grind in to a few hills though. I am jonesing for a good hard trail ride. Do you ever get time off during the day? I tried to call you back last week after I got your note. Did you get my message? Lets play hooky some time this week and get in a ride out at camp. Go really easy on me though. I probably couldn't hack more than 10 miles out there.

Blah....light snow here last night and I am fighting a sinus infection.

JP, you know my schedule - plan a ride or climb for us on Sunday/Monday. In both cases, something that won't kill me since you are way more advanced in both of these areas than me.

It got up to 40 on Saturday, so I put in a 42 miler. Wind was unbeleiveable though, and on a solo ride, I was slowing down coasting downhill into the wind. I was DONE when I got home.

s'posed to rain here for another week. I wish I had enough money to buy a kayak. Either that or I am going to start learning what a cubit is for my ark.

Ride today went great. Road from about 10am to 3pm eastern time which is the longest time I have ridden on the trails I am absolutely exhausted. I had two minor accidents, no injuries. It was a group ride. The weather was pretty good for February, started out in the low 30’s and ended up in the mid 50’s.

ODBsGirl and I did a 33 mile ride on Saturday. Temps in the mid 50's, sunny and nice rolling hills. I'm ready to start putting some mileage on again.
