Those places look pretty sweet. I can't wait until I get proficient on the bike enough to go to those places and have a good time. I wished we had places like here in Kentucky, and the dry weather.

Yea, I don't think anything can prepare for some of the trails out there. I was really awestruct (SP?) by some of the stuff I saw out there. I remember telling myself to just ride within my abilities and I will have a good time.

I have always been into the more technical stuff than just the pure speed stuff. We have some places in MI with some good rock gardens and such but nothing like Utah. It seems the big thing here right now is building trails that have obstacle sections with a turn off side trail if you want to go around. An obstacle could be anything from a giant log pile, ladder bridge, teeter totter, to a steep drop into a bowl. We don't have hills so we have to make our trails exciting some how!!!
