Anyone got a personal suggestion for a light on a road bike? Wanting to start commuting to the office again but it's dark! Thanks!

Depends on how long your commute is, how well the roads are lit, how much traffic. Details?

If you don't need too much I would recommend an l.e.d. light, cateye has some nice ones. I use one on my handle bars and one on my helmet for fire road mtb rides. They are light and I don't even notice the weight on my helmet. I have a cyclolight (battery fits in the water bottle cage) for single track. It turns night into day but the battery will only go a few hours.

The road is lit with those strange colored street lights for the most part. (It's North Hills Blvd.)
The only part that is dark dark is flat are with no shoulder for about 100 yeards then it's lots of street light again.

A different subject...you ever have any problems with street people early in the morning in the city areas?

A nice light l.e.d. would do it.

I've never had a problem with street people on my bike. At least no more than I've had with business professionals that don't get out of the way for anybody.

Don't forget to factor in the upcoming time change, later this month I think.
Do you cross JFK or McCain Blvd?
I grew up riding around Wildwood, Country Club, Club Road, and Silver Creek, but never got up on North Hills much.

I come from Windsor Valley...across 107/JFK at Taco Bell...cross McCain and North Hills and then weeee....down the hill to the river...over the Main Street bridge and a patch work or streets to the hospital.
