Hi! I'm Happy from California, 19 year old fitness enthusiast. I'm studying to become a Sports Nutritionist and when I'm not studying I'm out trying to stay active. So in my quest for activity I saved up my Barista dollars(I work at Starbucks) and bought an Extreme Hybrid road/mtn bike from Cannondale. It's a Bad Boy Ultra: Clicky
Quote:
The Bad Boys combine our light-yet-rugged mountain bike frames with lightning-quick road tires, adding a generous dose of dark, ominous styling for attitude. Perfect for shredding the urban landscape, the Bad Boys require only a quick wheel swap to make them ready for hard core off-road riding.
Anyhow, I used my Starbucks stock to buy the bike, not mommy and daddy's dinero. I really havn't rode it too much considering I bought it Friday and it had a flat Saturday morning, but it wasn't my fault! Tube manufuckup. So I plan on riding after this post. The only thing I can't wait on investing into the bike is the MTB wheelset. I live by some trails in the Ventura County of Southern California, I usually ride one of them out to PCH and get cancer on the beach before riding back with a sweet tanktop tan.

This was my first post - I just stumbled upon this site by lurking fitness forums and this one caught my attention as the most informative/social so I hope to be posting more often. Ciao.

Welcome Happy! Enjoy the ride, esp. with the Headshock fork. Get out and ride, ride, ride!

You know that looks like a great bike. Nice components and much better than the GT hybrid that I used to have. You could probably do some cyclocross on that.
