I do some bicycling. I have a Lemond Buenos Aires, and Windsor Leeds (my "utility" road bike), a Specialized Hardrock with lights, panniers, etc., for hauling groceries and night riding, and a trainer bike. I do a variety of bicycling - about 3,500 miles per year.
Got the Lemond down from the rafters today for a nice ride. Sure a change from the other two bikes I have been riding all winter.
I also swim a few hours per week, do a lot of weight lifting (free and machines), have a stretching program, walk and am doing some balance exercises (balance starts to deteriorate as you get close to 70).
In the past, I have done the "Ride the Rockies" and a variety of centuries, etc.
I am in the process of studying for my AFAA certification, and hope to be able to help other "seniors" in their fitness goals.
I am also very involved with the 50+ Forum on bikeforums.net
Well, thanks for listening!
Here is a picture of me on the Ride the Rockies 11 years back (I don't really have a decent newer picture!!). I was 58 at the time, and had just started bicycling 3.5 months previously.
Be assured I had a road bike the next year!!
