Default Tahoe Century

I am training for the Tahoe 100 this June with Team In Training. Anyone doing this ride? Any tips? I did it 4 years ago but looking to "really train" this time!

AZ Don;

Good point....Not much info for you!

The ride is actually called America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride - Lake Tahoe. It is a Century Ride around Lake Tahoe. Here is the home page link, (although it appears to be sold out for new registrants) ; http://www.bikethewest.com/AMBBR.html .

It is a BEAUTIFUL ride, but very challenging. Check out the elevation map; http://www.bikethewest.com/Art/AMBBR-Elev.jpg

Team In Training is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's training team for fundraising. Check out my personal page for the ride and info on my training and fundraising.

Hope this helps clarify the questions! Let me know if you have any training tips for this type of ride!

Thanks

Seems like there are a lot of riders on this site...would be fun to get a bunch to go and ride together...meet each other in person.
