Default Bike Computer

Any suggestions on a bike computer? I'm pretty much a nerd, so anything techie I can add to my training is fun for me. I'm looking to spend $50 or less. Next year if I'm still training for triathlons I'll look into getting a GPS I can use for cycling and running, but I'm keeping it cheap during the first year.

I've been using Cateye Cadence for over a year now without complaint.

http://www.cateye.com/en/product_detail/407

mileage, trip mileage, cadence, top speed, avg. speed, trip time, time of day. It's sleek, easy to install, has BIG numbers, and is really easy to change views (even with cold weather gloves on).

I use in conjunction with a heart rate monitor, and so the only thing I am lacking is GPS which I can live without for now.

I've got a Cateye Astrale, which is pretty similar that Strada Cadence. I think it was about 40 bucks. Next one I buy will be wireless.

If you spend any time on the trainer make sure you get one that reads speed from the rear wheel.

I have a Cateye, cannot remember the model but it has been kicking for about 5 years.

I had the Cateye Wireless with cadence and switched to the Cateye Strada with cadence as the wireless eats too many batteries.
