Smile New Purchacse

Went to my LBS over the weekend and purchased two Specialized Hardrock Sports. We are taking our inaugural ride on the levee this evening, but I can't wait to take it off-road.

Since this is the first time I have purchased "real" mountain bikes (not from Walmart), what do you guys think about Specialized as far as a beginner's bike?

I think they are a great investment. I purchased a Trek mountain bike two years ago and was a little hesitant to spend the money on the bike. I don't regret it though. The bike fits me fine and rides comfortably. As a plus, the bike shop I bought it from gives anybody who buys a bike a discount on every future purchase. The specialized bikes get great reviews so go out and have fun.

Specialized makes very good bikes, however, this thread is worthless without pictures!
