Default need a new saddle

Oh what fun. I'm riding in North Raleigh, a good 5 to 6 miles from the hotel when the top of my seatpost broke, causing the seat to aim upwards, which hardly is a good riding position. I dropped it down, strapped it so it wasn't poking upwards then rode the distance standing up. Aside from having my legs explode from that ride I think I did well.

I bought a new post now I need a new saddle. Any mountain bike saddle recommendations? I'm riding a Cannondale mtn bike with no suspension. I don't want a cushy saddle, just something like and semi narrow to sit on when I have to. My sits bones measure 143...went to 2 places to get saddles and they either had 130s or 155s, neither of which worked.

Koobi!

I can't say enough good things about my Koobi Xenon. Took a little while to break it in, but it was never uncomfortable. Now that it has a few thousand miles on it, it just fits my ass like it was molded on.
