George, Levi and Floyd on the podium, in any order, would be cool, and pretty unlikely, too.

Check out this month's Bicycling. A great 'interview' conducted by Dave Zabriskie on Floyd and vice versa. Those guys are best friends, live and train together, and are HILARIOUS! Floyd is the 'anti-Lance' when it comes to training and planning. He's throroughly entertaining. In the article, it mentioned that (when they were all on Postal together one year) LA called the two of them 'dumb and dumber' because of their juvenile antics and goofing off all the time.
Yeah Kuri, I'm cheering for my namesake to win. Ulli needs to win one - deserves to win one after LA taking his glory all those years and then suffering the indignity of Vino last year.
I'm "Jan-ing" it this year too. I wonder how long our free OLN preview will last? Poooooor ODB

Murphy's Law Lisa - as soon as you tune in, OLN is gone!
I think Jan is in good form, but I really think that Floyd and Basso have great teams around them. Basso is going to be hard to beat, but I'm really cheering hard for Floyd!

I was just reading that this morning, those two are funny as hell.
If I was making a prediction I'd say Basso, der Kaiser and Landis on the podium, but three weeks of racing is a damn long time and all kinds of weird things can happen.

I know he won one Fish, but if not for LA, he probably would have won 4 or 5.
I never used to like him, then somewhere along the line, I realized he was human, and that he was a fair and honest competitor with respect for the other players. When Vino screwed him over last year, I found myself feeling very bad for him. Needless to say, I don't want Vino to podium. The man is crazy.
Oh, yeah, I want Zabriskie to do well too, especially if Basso falters for any reason. DZ was screwed royally by his team in the TTT last year. That was just wrong. And I like Landis too, although his style of preparation is not to my personal preferance.
I'm also cheering for Georgie - after all those years of being a faithful servant, he deserves his shot. In answer to C. Dorr's question, Bruyneel is waiting to see how it plays out to see who will be backed up. If it's Popovych or Hincapie, it'll be determined as the race progresses and they see who is riding stronger and who is in the better position to win the GC.
I also can't wait for the Bob Roll-isms: 'The kilometers are passing like kidney stones now...'
How much of a geek am I? I just found a Fantasy Cycling thing on www.performancebike.com. You put together the best 9 riders, and the winner gets a new bike, 2nd gets $250 to Performance. Not too shabby.
Now I just have to figure out if I want Floyd winning it, or Basso? I want Floyd to win, but have a good feeling about Basso...We shall see...

Hilarious Eric. BTW, my buddy did RTR, never got off his bike to walk or catch a sag. All 240 lbs of him! Kick ass.
Here's the website for OLN's coverage, which begins with a preview show on Friday evening. I'm pretty excited to watch the first wide-open TdF in years. http://www.olntv.com/tdf/
See my other babbling response. I'm so mad, so sad, so frustrated, and so dissappointed right now. I don't know what to feel. I just got back from a long bike ride, and my daily EPO injecting session and was so pumped up for the Tour, then I see the crap that went down. DAMMIT!!!!
Fuck it, I'm going drinking.
Just kidding about the EPO, and I'm not going drinking til later, but I am drinking dammit!
