Default Semi slicks for my Mtb

Ok so I am gonna go buy Semi-slicks after work for the moutain bike since A) I ride on road most of the time and B) The triathlon is in a month.

Any advice on what to buy?

My current tires are 26 x 2.0, do I have to buy that exact size when I get the new ones? Can I get say 26 x 1.95?

The LBS had some Semislick Bontrager's for $24.99 each (CAD), Sorta leaning that way...

Og.

You could go smaller if you wanted. It may help lower your rolling resistance a little too. I normally run a 2.1" on my Blur (Hutchinson Spiders), but for our Katy Trail trip last year I got a set of cheapie 1.5" slicks. Worked out great although the bike looked a bit funny!

I picked up the 26x2s at the LBS and put them on last night, then went for a quick spin to test them out. Seem pretty good. Have the PSI around 50. I'll take the garmin next time so I can get some idea on speeds.

I ran my Michelin slicks at about 80 lbs, I'd say run them at the max pressure listed on the sidewall.

I just ordered some slicks for my MTB from www.nashbar.com 26x2.25 I was looking at getting a road bike for a while now, but just don't have the cash for it, so I figured why not toss these on in the meantime.
