Just wanted to thank Joe, Lisa, Aaron, and Sarah for a great ride yesterday. I had a freaking ball, and really enjoyed the ride and everyone's company. It was great to finally put some faces to names, and then get to know everyone a bit.
My back is a bit sore from the damn Scalpel, but I've learned my lesson about locking front shocks.
Yeah it was a sweet day all around E. Joe and I are already talking about when we're going to ride that loop again just to see how fast we can take that sweet downhill. Had a Blast!

=) Glad you guys had fun. I know there weren't any "real" climbs or flats like home, but we tried to make you feel welcome. I had a blast riding with all of you, and hope to do it again sometime. Those pesky rigid forks are only for road bikes, don't forget that!
Thanks for the sweet ride & for always waiting up for us slower folk. probably the funnest ride I've ever done.
Joe & Lisa, don't eat up all that pizza in one sitting now. Remember it's gotta last you all week.

See what had happened was, that pizza made me a bit queasy. I haven't touched it even though I took it to work today. I don't think I can. Ugh. I am so glad you all enjoyed the ride. You know our homes are always open. Between S&A and our house...we could have some BIG ass riding groups! Wha..do I hear 35 miles of trail 5 minutes from Sarah and Aaron's house a callin? Bitches.

The trail that you speak of, is it SS'able? I want to be called a bitch.
If not....I guess I could bring the Blur. It wouldn't take any time to knock the dust off her.
SS at Cedar Glades (or anywhere in Arkansas) is not about the bike but the rider. There was a guy out there that day on a sweet SS. I think it weighed less than one of my bike shoes though.

My humble thanks too, to Joe, Lisa, Sarah & Aaron for organizing the day, and to everyone for putting up with my slow pace.
I had a great time, although it took me a while to refamiliarize myself with riding off road. And once my heart finally settled down for the final circuit, everything was good.

Hey Blair-I had a great time out there, I'll ride with you any day! That last loop was a blast wasn't it? I was glad your ticker settled down and let you enjoy it.

Thanks again Joe, Lisa, Aaron, and Sarah. I had a blast. Sorry I couldn't make dinner. IHOP was fantastic, though. I'll be up in LR again shortly, so we'll definitely have to tackle the womble. I can't wait.

Thanks, Lisa. Both loops were awesome, each in their own way.
Triple bypass was a rush.
hehehe joking about the triple bypass is kinda funny while we're talking bout your finicky ticker. I love the bypass...even the heart attack hill getting to it is cool in it's own way...it's that bitch curve at the top that gets my blood boiling! Then I know the triple bypass thrill will take me right back to A) the potty B) cold beverages or C) another loop!

OK, so I am just getting around to posting after the retreat weekend. I had an awesome time on Sunday with you bitches. Seriously, Cedar Glades was awesome. Thank you guys for setting it up, running the transportation, bringing the food along, and taking care of us on the trail. I would love to go again sometime. When you guys are up in the Virginia area, let me know!
Thanks for coming along Craig. I'd love to ride some in VA and have some close friends up in the Fairfax area so you may see me some time. Otherwise, next time you're down visiting family we'll take you on some other favorites of ours.
