Default Why I can't make the retreat this year! New Bike Pic

Every since I returned from Arkansas, I have been working to make this happen. That trip ended up costing me more than I bargined for, but I am glad it did. I've gotten three rides on it and I can say that I am lovin life right now!

Turner Flux

And they last forever.

You like that engagement dont you? I will be aquiring my first set of kings. I found a guy wanting to unload some used. I have ridden them...and the engagement makes my pants go crazy. I love to ratchet them.

A 4" Flux is a super sweet machine. You can ride everything but the "Stupid" stuff on that thing. Plus, Turner has excellent customer service.

I haven't weighted it, don't have a working scale at home. LBS guessed it at around 26 lbs. I know it is a lot lighter than my other bike

Flee, the king hubs defiantly have great ingagement. I'm glad I spent the extra money on the King hubs. If their durablity is what everyone says, than they will be more than worth the money.

I have gotten five rides on it now. The bike does just about everything better than my other bike. I instantly became a better decsender. I really struggled with cornering on my other bike. I could do it but always seems like I was getting left behind by other riders when it came to taking corners. I railed bermed terms on the Reliegh because I wanted to, on the Flux I rail berms because I have to. Does that make sense?

The only problem I have had is with the bigger log crossings, I think the longer wheel base is making them a little harder to clear. Nothing that a little speed wont take care of!

Nice bike. Congrats on buying the last set of hubs and the last headset you'll ever need.
