Handful of things that weren't posted here, but that liberals on here would have broken their hands trying to post (as well as scream bloody murder) had Bush said it:
1) Controlling the press. Or should I say, baaa baaa baaa...to the sheep?
President Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference. "Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.
"One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters," said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama's chief campaign manager.
"We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it," Dunn said.
Continued Dunn: "Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it, what the tactic was. … Making the press cover what we were saying."
Would have loved it had Cheney tried to get away with that!
2) Obama golfs more in 9 months than Bush in 2 years. Don't worry, the troops in combat can wait until you straighten out that slice!
3) The big evil empire (aka, insurance companies) don't actually make what liberals claim in terms of profits
Quote:
In the health care debate, Democrats and their allies have gone after insurance companies as rapacious profiteers making "immoral" and "obscene" returns while "the bodies pile up."
Ledgers tell a different reality. Health insurance profit margins typically run about 6 percent, give or take a point or two. That's anemic compared with other forms of insurance and a broad array of industries, even some beleaguered ones.
Profits barely exceeded 2 percent of revenues in the latest annual measure. This partly explains why the credit ratings of some of the largest insurers were downgraded to negative from stable heading into this year, as investors were warned of a stagnant if not shrinking market for private plans.

Fire up the base by being anti corporate? Check! Create a bogeyman for them to hate? Check! Tactic used by every dictator through history? Check!
LOL! Right? ROTHFLMAO? FML?
4) The kind, sweet, oh so pleasant liberal pundits with opinion shows on cable. You know, like how every republican loves Beck and Hannity? I guess Olbermann should speak for them, just how Beck speaks for all republicans!
Gotta love Olbermann's overt kindness and rational discourse...
Quote:
Olbermann starts with a recitation of Malkin's emails, belittling her voice and putting on a "Valley Girl" accent--i.e., an unintelligent female voice. But it's only after that unfortunate display of sexism that Olbermann hits it out of the misogynist park. He said:[Malkin's] total mindless, morally bankrupt, knee-jerk, fascistic hatred, without which Michelle Malkin would just be a big mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it.
For the record, on average, once every 24 minutes in this country, a woman does become a "mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it." Nearly 1.3 million American woman will be a victim of domestic violence this year, and one in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.
A liberal, progressive critique of Malkin need not and should not resort to an attack on her looks or her gender or rely on silly stereotypes or imagery that brings to mind victims of domestic violence.

5) Mao. 70 million killed. How many times did someone in here post a story...someone who had ties to someone who once knew someone who one time thought he saw Bush....and used it to eviscerate republicans? twice a day?
but have Mao as someone you turn to most, and nary a peep.
I loved her response though,

The use of the phrase 'favorite political philosophers' was intended as irony, but clearly the effort fell flat

Yeah, irony. Hey, maybe Marge Schott was only using irony when she said that Hitler had done some good and some bad things?
6) ah...it is too easy. The things that, for 8 years, we had to hear everyone pretend to truly believe in...are things they no longer believe in. Welcome to the world of denial!
