Hey everyone! Okay I posted my stats. I want to say that...this time I really want to try and lose the weight and tone up. I was 111 lbs before I got a professional job. Within a year I went from 111 lbs to 124 lbs...shocker. I have always been obsessed with weight and now it's just haunting me. I've had a rough past of eating disorders but I think I'm passed all that.
Anyway, great to meet you all and I look forward to this!!! Hopefully I'll drop some weight, somewhere.
Hi, I would like to join this, I have taken photos and have my weight but I don't have a tape measure. I have never really cared for measuring my body with a tape measure because I dont really know where to measure anyway and think it is hard to get an accurate measurement since I don't know what I'm doing and could measure the same body part twice in a row and get different numbers.
Is it allowed to join with only photos and weight or do you need the tape measure measurements also?
FWIW, I've started just doing the largest circumference on my bust, smallest on waist, largest on hips. Easier to keep track of for me. But also, I'll tell you, having those stats really helps down the line. You will regret it if you don't keep track--I sure did.
And I dropped out of #2--just cuz I missed the posting date. Now I put them on my calendar.
Perfect lead in... remember the following posting dates:
Monday October 5th
Monday November 2nd
Monday December 7th
Monday January 4th
Yes, marking your calendar is a good thing. In general, I'll put the thread up a week in advance. However, if any of those come during a time you're going to be away just let me know closer to the time and I'll set up the thread earlier.
Well ladies, with a little under three hours left, I'm about to head to bed. I'll finalize the list of people in the morning, but as we've said all along - the cut off time will be based on the board time. I know we're probably going to miss a few people as we always do (no matter when we set the time for), but I've done my best to make everyone aware of the time... so, rules are rules!
That puts the list at 40 (with one person still needing to post photos, but I've sent her a PM, and she'll have a couple of days). Please remember NEXT PHOTOS DUE OCTOBER 5TH!
Did I not do something right? Got my photos in--with your help, thank you!, and started a thread. Maybe I didn't post on the right thread or something? Let me know.

All I can say is WOW! The after pics are truely motivational. I can't tell the difference between my before pics (when I started NROL4W) and the pics I took at the start of this challenge. I was wearing a different outfit, so maybe that had something to do with it. I just hope I can see some small changes in more places than just my arms. How about the problem areas - UGGGGH!

by month 2 and 3 you will start to notice changes when comparing to your month 1 pics. The first check in is the hardest because you really don't notice to much right away.

It's a great idea to wear the same outfit for pics--the other issue is to get the same photographer and take the pics at the same place--these are all pitfalls that I fell into; for instance the pics this time were taken by hubby and the angle is totally different than when the short daughter takes them.
I'm one of those experts who can't do, so we teach....
Yeah, I feel like my starting pics are mostly useless because I wore shorts instead of underwear. My next pics will be in underwear and may even be in a different location, so it's almost as though the first month photos will be my starting photos. Oh well, I'll just have to work that much harder to see good changes by month 4.
Bring it!!

My favorite exercise is a seated cable row as I love how I feel strong while doing it and the stretch I can get at the end of it.
My next favorite is a bb shoulder press. I have to be careful doing it due to a bum shoulder, but the same thing, it makes me feel strong and powerful.
When I was younger I used to love doing upright bb rows because I would see muscles pop in my shoulders and traps. Today I never do them as I have a problem with my neck and traps, but it's a great "watching" exercise.
My favourite would have to be the deadlift. Just because I love the feel when lifting (especially as I go heavier). Probably my second favourite would be the one-arm dumbbell snatch, just because it's such an odd lift.
