Hi Sal,

Just checked out your blog - have to agree with Annette - you are so cute! Much prefer you to your baking porn.

Yep, still here. Just got back from New York. Actually arrived back Wed morning but went straight from the airport to my first day on my new masters course. Very intensive with no opportunity for food prep so survived most of the first day on biscuits, and then the evening, exhausted and get lagged, on Chinese takeaway.

First weigh in this morning - 199.6 pounds. Just got away with it - I would have been gutted if I'd hit the 200 pound mark - I never want to go back there. So around 4.5 pounds in five days in NY plus 2 days travelling/studying. Managed one slightly-modified NROL workout in the hotel gym, but mostly we just walked and walked and walked. Probably offset some of the damage from Concretes at Shake Shack, ribs, cinnamon raisin PB sandwiches with cream cheese and apples slices, chopped liver, candy floss at Coney Island and lots of other scrumptious indulgences. It amazes me that anybody manages to live in NYC and NOT be obese.

Back on the straight and narrow today (another college day today and tomorrow) and hopefully by the weekend when I have time to shop and exercise I will be completely back in control of both diet and exercise and able to post a bit more.
