I certainly think your costumes were winners. That bites. Everything about your costume was very creative from the colors to the combo of zombie and saloon girl. Very awesome.
I have a brother ULT, a babylock 4 thread serger (can't remember what's it's called all those e-names mess me up) and a Pfaff 7550. I actually do most of my sewing on the brother now. I haven't actually upgraded to a coverstitch machine yet. So do I take it you have one of the dedicated coverstitch only machines? How do you like it? Right now I'm not missing what I don't have although I imagine eventually I'll want one. I don't sew a bunch of knits just occasionally.
Sorry the munchies got you. I've been in a bit of plateau myself right now.
But I wanna bitch a bit. So we had awesome costumes, and full makeup...and we didn't even place in the costume contest. I have no clue what's up with that, but we were pissed. People were complementing us left and right, taking photos.
I have no problem with the Ghostbusters winning, but some guy in a zoot suit got 2nd place, and a guy in his underwear and a cape got 2nd. I'm sorry...that stinks.
We know our outfits were great though.
Funny how everything in life seems to be fixed, isn't it? It really is amazing how even on the 'small scale' things there really can't be fairness. Or at least, seldom is there real fairness.

Diana, I have the Janome CP1000, and I'm still learning to use it and like ti. It's sure not like a serger that seems such a necessity.
Well, no one seemed to blow last month away in that challenge, huh. Weird that we are all pretty darn stable. But no major gains either, bloat doesn't count.
We do all need to buckle down a bit.
So I buckled yesterday and had an 800+ calorie deficit, hurray for me. Now if I can just do that everyday this month I would lose about 7 lbs. Now is that cool or what?
Sorry to hear about the migraine. I used to have a rough time with them, but not so much lately (well, for the last two days some killer headaches). I take Advil liqui-gels for the headaches, but back when I had the migraines I found that if I got them early enough the Advil would keep them from getting too bad.
Migraines are the worst. It's like a hurricane in your head. Sure you can board up the windows by taking an advil or something, but you still have to wait out the storm. Sorry to hear you suffer from them, too.
Well, the scale wasn't kind to me this morning, up two pounds from last Monday. Bummer, but it was my fault. Hopefully that Italian Buffet will be out of me soon....lol.
So it's another week.
I had a nice hour long walk this morning. I'm going to start working harder on my good habits, forming them that is. I'm slacking on all fronts, and due to that, I'm not losing.
So I want to focus on tracking, getting in the walks and easy exercise, taking my vitamins, stretching, drinking water.
WOW! 3 whole days lost to a migraine. That totally sux. I'm so glad to see you are feeling better even though there is 2 lbs more of you. It is likely water bloat from the magraine diet btw.
