Post A gentlemen's challenge: 6pack abs from stcratch, in 3 months or less!

Hello everyone, and since this is my first post / thread, let me say that this is a very fine gathering of freaks you have here

The topic of the day is a challenge, between me and this dude I know, about who will first get a good set of 6pack abs, starting from average every day normal bellies, and totally lame fitness levels. Civilian life as it were

BEFORE Pictures were made yesterday evening, but alas, they will have to wait a few hours before posting, as I am writing from work. First comparison pics will be 1 month from now, and then again in another month, and so on and so forth, until one of us gets a clear 6pack, and then we will know what's what. I set a personal target of 2-3 months before I get mine, because I've had a similar bet going in 2008, and won it fair and square. Photos show 6packs at about 2 months and a half from challenge start. I figured I can do at least as good in 2009

About training methods, supplies / nutrition and other technical details, those will come with the updates, but I will say that I do not go to gyms and approach any such challenge with the goal of not only winning, and winning with a clear edge, but also I look to make it interesting and fun, and find new solutions for old problems. I get bored very easily, so in order to keep at something 2-3 months or more, I will have to find ways of making it very fascinating indeed.

So glad to be here, and share the experience with such a fine crew

Talking And a mini-update: The Road to Victory :)

Here's what I think needs doing, to get things started. This is going to work really cool later on, so I figured the more info, the better.

In no particular order:
- buy mp3 player with good capacity and battery life - for sleeping on Paul McKenna tracks and staying focused throughout the day with music and seminars
- Gather all the materials in one folder - Evil Russian Pavel Tsatsouline, Paul McKenna, the Kundalini Yoga videos
- Stock up on Melatonin - for more, better quality sleep
- Move to other room - changes of environment make it easier to change behaviors / install new habits
- Build a set of Poi - secret weapon for this year's approach to upper body development and general fun
- Change bearings on roller skates and clean them for a change
- Stock up on Supliform - the cheap and natural Romanian anticelulitic gel
- Bring a thermos and Yerba mate to have available at work
- grow wheatgrass (possibly find a low tech juicer for it)
- go to fitness store, get protein and protein bars, L-Carnitine and anything else they might have that's interesting

Smile Update

Yesterday I started moving to the other room, and bought two HUGE neon growlights

Today I will finish moving and get lots of sleep, so that tomorrow I can get out and actually start the first training in the morning, before work.

Yerba Mate tea - check, I have it here at the office, so we can start with some minimal fat burning and detox.

As you can see, I am very 'rich' and have a lot of 'material' to work with, and also I do believe I have managed to get an amazing amount of fat on my butt, in a size and shape that I had thought was only possible on girls

But anyway, getting into action mode, and I'm looking forward to do something like last year, please see more in pics from the 2008 challenge

So far so good, and hope to see some replies soon
