Default summers nrol4w challenge log

hey im summer. im a teenager (dont worry i got permission from my parents ) im 5ft 9 in.. i weight 190. i want to lose 20 pounds by spring. im new to weight lifting. Celestialmom is helping me and we are going to the gym togeather . im doing the nrol4w.

ok so here is my workout from friday sorry i didnt post it sooner but it wasnt working.

nrol4w work out b2

warm up 5 min. fast walking on treadmill

dead lift 2X15 @ 45 #

dumbbell shoulder press 9 @20#, 6 @15#, 15@15#

wide-grip lat pull down 2x15 @ 60#

lunges 2x15 @ 15#

swiss ball crunch 2x8

I wish someone had introduced me to weight lifting when I was a teenager. At your age, I was also 5'9", 190#.

hey i felt like i needed to explain why i didnt post my workout today. its because i didnt go. im sick with a fever and cant really do anything without getting dizzy. hopefully i will be at the gym on wednesday! =]

workout 1 A
Squats 12 @ 40# 12 @ 60#
Push ups 12x2
Seated rows 12x2 @ 60 #
Step ups 12x2 @ 40 #

workout 1 B

Dead lift 12x2 @ 75#

ok i dont know how to log cardio but yeah. im doing the musical and for the past two days we have been dancing for 2 hours haha so thats my cardio =]

yes!! its rather exciting haha.. soo today we only danced for about 30 mins. but i thought i would still say so! anything counts right?

omg! iv been feeling so much better sense i went to the gym this week. iv been feeling really great. im so much more happy and have a lot of energy. I feel strong! and just plain amazing haha. im really glad im doing nrol4w. im excited to take pictures at the end of the month and see if there are any changes. =] just thought i would share haha.

Great job! I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling great.

I noticed that you're weights are really increasing. 45lbs to 75lbs in your deadlifts is amazing! Keep it up.

I teach middle school and see a lot of positive mental changes in my students when they are involved in sports. I am so glad you are feeling good.
