i have a new goal i think! woo! its to run a mile every week and to increase a mile every month for 5 months ...maybe more..not sure. i know its sorta lame.. just a mile a week but w/e you have to start somewhere right? might as well start small so you stick with it lol. [=
Sorry for not posting food for the last couple of days. here is what i had today it was all together around 1,400 calories
breakfast - protein shake
lunch- tuna helper
dinner- chicken fingers, rice, salad
snack - chips, dip, small salad
I'm posting this so I hopefully dont eat anything else. I think ill listen to Celeste and drink tea if i get hungry or something =]
Summer, I keep missing updates on your log for some reason. Your goal about getting in a mile every week is very cool. It's great to start small and build on it, instead of starting so big that you can't keep up the momentum for very long. You are going about this in the right way.
Sorry you didn't get to go to the gym yesterday--we'll get started tomorrow though, I bet you'll get 3 visits in this week. Remember you can always do stuff at home for a makeshift workout (not weights, but cardio or intervals). So how did the rest of the evening go for you last night? Did you make it? See you soon!

thanks. i hope i keep it lol. iv always wanted to run and such. its all good. ill just work really hard this week. . i hope i get three in! haha. i did make it! woo! i just drank water the rest of the night. today isnt so good though. there is junk everywhere in the house with the super bowl and all. i kept track of breakfast and thats it..ugh. i cant wait till tomorrow! haha. iv never felt that way about the gym before haha. ok well ill ttyl bye

ok cool!! wwoo i cant wait!!! i want to see if i can do deadlifts with 80s plus your a pretty cool kid. haha :] and its fun to lift and such with youu.
today calories was 1,400-1,500 and it was a workout day. maybe ill go down and get something later..idk. but today here is what i had.
cinnamon toast crunch
2 protein shakes. (before and after)
south-west chicken (i guess we can call it that haha its just cooked in salsa)
small potato
salad
picked at some chicken for dinner maybe 2 or 3 super small strips
lucky charms
small slice of bread

Well, yeah, you're gonna like Fox's better cuz you didn't have to make it. Lots of things taste better when you don't have to plan them and make them yourself.

I feel like i should be doing more. Something everyday. Like cardio or something. Maybe HIIT. I don't really know. It feels like im slaking only working out every other day.But I dont know if thats to much. Some advice would be nice.))

As for adding more cardio in, I'd work on that "run a mile a week" goal of yours. It seems like a great place to start. Add cardio in slowly. You don't want to burn yourself out, and remember that your body needs time to repair after working out. Oh! And rest/relaxing is really important.

It's the little stuff that adds up! And it doesn't need to be "formal" cardio, even! You can take an extra trip up/down the stairs, park farther away from the entrance to the store, do laps around your house every hour - stuff like that.
I agree, Summer! If you volunteer to shovel your walkway, get the mail, take out the dog, whatever, every day, you will burn more calories while not burning yourself out. If you're dancing for play practice, same thing. That said, cardio is a good thing, and can help you reach your goals if your diet is in check as well.
