Thanks everybody.... I'm handling it pretty well, for now. I know when I get home and see her I'll fall apart, but for now I'm just looking at the bright side: she's not suffering or fighting anymore.

time to watch the superbowl... or more realistically - the commercials

Thanks everybody...
It was hard this week. It hits me in stages.

I'm going to try to start upping my activity this week. Gonna start with bodyweight stuff at home this week and then start power training again. Hopefully I can get some muscle tone and strength back. I feel so.... squishy, lol.

Thanks Tina

So yeah... activity is crap this week too. I am so dang out of it! I am in some type of crazy winter funk that I can't get out of. I'm lazy, irritated at my job, pissed at myself that I'm so out of shape and yet not motivated enough to get off my ass and fix it. Bah. Bri wrote me a little bodyweight program to do at home this week. I tried it once and failed miserably! First thing was BSS, which I HATE in the first place. Even just setting up for those hurts my back leg since I have zero (or negative) hip flexor/quad flexibility. I got so pissed off that it set the tone for the rest of the "workout" and it was horrible to say the very least. Did a little stretching last night and some planks, which were harder than they should have been. Chinups are crap, pushups are crap, my overall strength and in-shape-ness is crap right now. I have got to get my act together. What I really need is something to actually motivate me since I can't find my own motivation right now...

ideas, thoughts?

Haha Well I suppose that would motivate me if I were getting married, but I'm not, at least not that I know of!

On a completely different note... I was at Barnes and Noble recently and was looking at clean eating magazine, I really liked it... anyone subscribe to it? I'm thinking of getting a subscription.

So I've looked at Power Training again and I set up a program for myself. I'm going to start tonight when I get back from work. Also, Bri will be here this weekend, so hopefully he will help with the motivation since we go together when he visits. If all goes well I can avoid any gain/bloat from birthday cake
