I feel like my shoulders are going to be dislocated. I'm scared the bar is going to go back.

Keep the weight on your heels and push through your heels on the OH squats and make sure the bar isn't forward.

Yup, that's what I do. I don't really have a problem with form doing them. I just really don't like them. I'd prefer to do regular squats or even front squats.

Weekend is getting closer..

Feb 4 update
goals/ actual
1494/ 1513 calories
189 / 174 prot
95 / 76 carbs
40 / 57 fat

Last night I had a great m6; 55Gr ricotta cheese, chocolate whey, sweetener and cocoa, mix with just a touch of water. kinda like cheese cake.

Todays goals
1494 calories
189 p
95 c - with fruit
40 f

Another training and cardio day. Finished both already, got up early and worked out at home. Just too busy today at work to get to the gym.

It was suppose to be another bike interval day and another leg day, but I switched it to upper and a SS walk. I wanted to have the higher calories on a Saturday. I also don't like doing legs 2 days in a row. I know Leigh has a reason and I shouldn't change it around. But I just needed a bit of flexibilty, in the long run I don't think it will make much difference.

workout
35 min SS incline walk
DB bench press alt. 3x6 @28lbs
incline press 3x10 @ 25lbs
arnold press 3x8 @ 20 lbs
seated rear dealt raise 3x10 @ 20 lbs

thanks it so far.

Todays goals

Yesterday after the 2 day refeed the scale was up2.5lbs and today down 1lbs from that. From the other refeeds I've done seems to take 2 to 3 days for the weight to go back down to normal.[/quote]

finally the scale dropped!

I've been going up and down from 155.4 to 157ish after refeeds, today dropped to 154. So that's 6.2 lbs in 6.5 weeks. I guess that's not horrible, averaging 1lb a week.

Today and tomorrow are rest days. So kinda boring things to report.

Ugh, that would be annoying to have the gym open so late.

Yeah, a lot of the girls just showered and left, didn't bother working out. I was lucky, I just hustled through the workout and was about 15min late. Again lucky for me, everyone comes in around 8:30.

Morning. Very short update, the workouts are going well, I have to say the diet not the greatest over the weekend. I indulged in Truffles. A lot. Anyways back on plan and with 2 new reasons to get to goal.

Vegas in June and Hawaii in Oct.

I lived in both places for a couple of years each. One of these days, I'll rob a bank and go back. LOL

So, I'm redoing my numbers for my lowest weight, on Feb 11, I was 153.6. I went back up and haven't come down again. I do think it has a lot to do with working out 5 days a week. I seem to drop the weight after 2 days in a row of rest.

I'm dropping the numbers as I'm getting nervous that I won't get to my goal for the Vegas trip. I have 17 weeks, but I've only lost 6lbs in 8 weeks. I would like to be 140 by then, so that is 16lbs in 17 weeks.

I presume you mean the calories numbers?

Why not drop 1-2 days of the working out? I know that would be changing the plan but dropping a couple of the workout days might be more tolerable.

hmm... something I would have to ask Leigh. Seems more in line with the program to reduce the calories and keep the workouts.
Also, I only have 5 more weeks on this plan, then Leigh recommended a diet and training break for 2 weeks. I'd like to stick it out for the next 5 weeks.

You're right to ask her. How have you been feeling on the current calorie levels, and how do you think you'll feel on lower ones? 5 weeks to a break doesn't sound as bad as the 17 weeks I thought you'd be going through.

I'm actually feeling good on this plan. No real hunger to speak of, which is surprising as it's a pretty low cal. plan about 8.5 to 10 calories x bw.
I have high hopes for the diet break at the begining of April, I'm a little nervous, but I'll up the calories slowly to find a nice steady place.

yes, another full blown 17weeks might killme.

Well, maybe I'll give up with Krispy. I've been doing this almost 2 months, hardly any results, then someone else does this for 1 day and can see more defination.

I must be a failure.

ok, for real.

Today is a rest day, thank goodness, becasuse work is crazy and I'm so tired my head is throbbing. Having trouble seeing out of one eye. Not good.

Tomorrow, is training and cardio and saturday is a refeed day, will be closer to a cheat meal day. As it's my hubby's bday and I will be taking him to one of our favourite resturants. I will have some extra carbs before and after my workout, then pretty take it easy so I can have a nice meal.

I'm so looking forward to it.

I'm not giving up, I'm regrouping.

Did you try drinking a gallon of water?

Seriously, 6 pounds in 8 weeks on this type of plan is not bad. If you want quicker results, though, maybe you should try original OPT.

I might have to sit down and really compare the two plans. I didn't really like any of the workouts. I'll look at it though and see if it's something that would work. Maybe I'll even ask Leigh her thoughts.

I didn't like the workouts, lack of cheats and refeeds or being on the same number of calories every day for 1-2 weeks at a time. But that's just me. Other people seem to love it.
