I'm eating lots of beef right now, having a craving for it like crazy.

No starchy carbs except on refeed days. I'll be having some potatos today for dinner I think.

A little Opt remix updates. I'm liking itso but even though my weight is doing funny things the last few days, I'm feeling "off" so I think I'm in the start of my two weeks of PMS.

wed- first refeed day and training, weight = 156.4
thurs- second refeed day = 157.8
friday - training = 160.8
sat= training = 156.2 whoo hoo
sun = training = 157 what?
mon = rest day = 159 double what? (all weights are first thing in the morning)

I switched today and sunday as I knew I couldn't get away from the office today. So today is a rest day. Saturday was the lowest weight for being on Opt Remix.

yes, it usually starts 14 to 12 days before TOM comes. Then TOM for a week. So I have one week of normal.

Oh, no! I've had crazy cycles like that for a couple years before, but am finally feeling closer to normal again. Just wanted to say you have my sympathy.

I've been like this since I started, going on 14 years. The joys huh? Some months are better then others.

So, scale did go down to 157.6 today that's -1.4 from yesterday, but from week 2 start at 157 I'm up .6 pounds. Not sure if I should let it ride for a week, or drop calories. I was using a higher activity #. It's not a lot of calories but it might just be enough.

I'm confused.

Are you weighing EVERYTHING so that you are certain the calories you are tracking are accurate reflections of what you truly ate for each day?

Yes, I'm very anal about weighing. Been doing that for 2.5 years.

Checked the calendar for last month, TOM started dec 18, so... could still be that.

Had a good quick workout. I was the only one in the gym.

DB flat bench 2x12 @ 27.5lbs
incline bench alt. press 2x6 @ 25lbs
scap pushups 2 x10
rear delt raises 2x10 @22.5lbs

increased weights on all lifts.

(incase you all are interested... I'm starting to cramp. )

I've also had 2 people tell me that my arms are looking more muscly. I'm going to stop worring.

I'm having a crazy craving day and it's a low day/rest day.

I did decide to use a lower activity level and a lower weight to redo my calorie #'s.

Jan 13, 2009
goal / actuals
1613/ 1434 calories. I went to bed before I could get in more protein
193 / 168 p
108 / 69 carbs
45 / 54 fats

Training and cardio done.

Jan 14/09
goals for today
1387 calories
p - 189
c- 65
f - 41

Rest day.

Ok, today is crazy at work.

But had to come in and say that the scale moved down today. 155.8

And Leigh mentioned in another thread that the remix plan is more recomp then weight loss, so the scale may not move too much.

Now that I know that, then I won't be expecting big drops in weight. Hopefully will show up on the measurements in a couple of weeks.

Yep but that doesn't make any less cool and motivating when it does happen.
