I'm sorry you're frustrated. I hope you stay in the challenge but will understand if you think dropping it would be best for you. I would say don't make a decision though in the heat of the moment that you may regret later.
One option would be to stay in through February and take your time in March to make sure it's what you really want before you leave the challenge.
those of you who do a day of prehab/mobility training, would you be able to maybe point me in the direction of some info about this? I'm considering changing to 3 lifting and 1 mobility day a week.
Month 2 pics and stats due a week from today on March 2. The update thread has been posted.
Make this week a good one!
Hee hee. I am just popping in here to say that I am waiting until the last possible moment to post this month's update because I'm wanting to see if I can minimize the damage from being sick, taking medications, and being a slug with workouts and food.
Karen, I'm doing the same thing! Especially since the scale is up today. Last minute for me..ugh, and I just remembered my camera is not working. Bleah. Well, I have this week to figure out how to get it to work or find the cord for my phone. Not having a good day!
Hopefully by the end of the week I will have a camera and another pound gone.
There's half dozen or so in the challenge who haven't checked in all month. Usually, the peeps who don't check in are the ones who fall behind. So, don't be shy.....jump in and join us. Update your logs, let us know how you are doing and come here for some added inspiration and motivation. Being part of the group is a lot of what makes these challenges so successful for so many.

ditto! My favorite aunt is visiting and I'm not about to document anything at the moment!

And a little friendly good-natured competition helps, too!!!
I'm waiting for the weekend to do mine as well. Picture time is always fun time at my house now that I ask my husband to help out!
Me: Sweetheart, can you take my picture?
Him: Like that?
Me: Yes.
Him: Why?
Me: So I can post it on the internet....
LMAO! Same conversation here, although by now, he is used to it.
So, I have a question. Does it say in the rules (I am too lazt to go look) that it has to be the same outfit? Just curious. I don't want to drop out of the challenge, but with the surgery and such - I really can't do bikini pictures this month and I am not going to go into detail, but I can't.
Just curious.

I'm still in the challenge, but struggling. I almost didn't join, but the reason I did is that I like the accountability of posting pics and stats each month. My training is fine. I'm recovered from my pulled muscle and almost finished with the NROL Break-In, and swimming several days a week. It's the eating that I'm struggling with. I know that if I wanted to I could buckle down and lose a few pounds, but it's what happens after that that I need to figure out. I consider myself at goal because I'm still wearing the same size I got down to after my initial 25 pound loss. My goal now is to figure out a way to stay here without driving myself crazy over food. That's why I've experimented lately with different eating styles- plain old calorie counting, clean eating, etc. Lately I've noticed some unhealthy obsessing going on, so I'm reading Intuitive Eating. I need to resolve my issues with food and be able to eat in a healthy balanced way.
Does anyone have the link to the original thread with stats? I can't find my stats and I'm getting really irritated. Also, can someone help me make my pics smaller? Photobucket is just not cooperating with me.
Feeling old and pathetic,
E.
Hey ladies. I hope to eventually get around to everyone's log, but I'm playing catch-up this afternoon. This basically involves doing everything that I should have done during my break week, pretty much all in one day!
So, if I don't get back to say it - everyone posting (including tomorrow) - great job!
Yes, that includes those who didn't lose, or who are even up a couple of pounds. We all have good and bad months, but it's what we do long term that counts. So, if the start of the year hasn't been as good as you wanted it... there's still four more months to turn it around!
