FYI.....for those of you not in the challenge, Julie will probably be moving your logs to the training forum. Just wanted to give a heads-up in case you wondered where your log ran off to!

Jane,
My log is currently in the training forum...do I need to ask a moderator to move my log over here or do you think they'll be planning on doing that anyway?
Thought I'd post a quick note I may be MIA for the next little bit. We may have to evacuate so am getting ready just in case. The Puyallup is flooding now and the crest isn't expected for several hours yet and it's expected to top out at 20 feet over flood stage. Previous record was I think about 12 feet so it may hit us this time around. The other possibility is that we'll be just fine here just unable to get out and may end up losing power. Anyway talk to everybody later. Take care. This is pretty crazy Washington weather we're having.

You'll be in my thoughts, Diana. Hope all goes well.

I am new to the board and I am in the challenge. I am starting on Monday Jan. 12th and I'll really excited about it.
A little bit of background. I am a 32 year-old mom of two kids (4 and 18 mo). I don't have much experience lifting. In fact, I enrolled in a gym a few months ago. Up until know I've been working out at home with videos and I really like it but I think it would be nice to develope some muscle and I find this program really interesting and something different of what I've been doing.
Welcome to the challenge. Although I've moved on to other things, I came to this board after purchasing NROL4W (I'm assuming you did too). It was a fun (but tough) program. Best of luck!
welcome to the forums, cristina! i started nrol4w last january without any real lifting experience and loved it! i can't wait to get back to the gym and start lifting again.
you've found an incredible resource - everyone is so helpful and supportive - don't be afraid to post questions or vent. and best of luck with the challenge, hopefully you'll find it very motivating!

Hi ladies! Jane has sent me a PM with everyone's name on it who is currently participating ... for the purpose of relocating any logs out of the "training log" section and into the "challenge log" section.
My life has been crazy busy the past week or so and I don't see that letting up in the very near future, so I am going to ask for your help.
IF YOUR LOG IS NOT IN THE CHALLENGE SECTION, BUT YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE CHALLENGE, PLEASE PM ME THAT REQUEST AND PLEASE INCLUDE THE LINK TO YOUR LOG AND I WILL HAPPILY MOVE IT!
Conversely, for any reading ... if you are not participating, but your log is still here in the Challenge section, and you want it moved to the regular log section, also shoot me a PM with instructions and the link.
Thanks so much ... and Happy Challenging!!

Popping to say we are fine and weren't directly affected by the flooding. The school buses didn't come into our area though and a lot of streets are closed so getting around is slow and tricky. Quite a few other people did get flooded also and not just those who live on the banks of the river. Fortunately the river crested right at flood stage before hitting the more densely populated areas. The paper today said more than 40,000 people were told to evacuate in Pierce county yesterday alone although not all of those ended up flooding. Not sure yet about the final damage toll. And we're certainly not one of the more flood prone areas either.
Anyway thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts and prayers. Scuba gear offer was great too. Ha Ha. They were all appreciated.

Ah, I had just posted in your log wondering how you were making out. Glad to hear you weren't directly soggified.
Diana, the weather up there is so weird now--I grew up in Seattle and it would only snow a little bit and melt--it seems like the weather has totally changed.
Anyway, glad you're ok!
Seriously!!! And now I can't even veg out and check out people's logs--I'm folding mounds of laundry that are covering my bed...if I want to sleep tonight I've got some work to do...
