"As far as (healthy) eating, either do it, or don't. Same issues repeated over and over is just insanity. We either commit to the endeavor or pay lip-service to it. This is the hardest part of the whole process, and it needs to be practiced more than the actual physical training. It's mind training." ~ Matt Thorne

Hayzel, nice progress this week! Having a specific date is nice because in some ways it lets you know for sure how hard you have to work. And, then there's the relief of knowing one way or the other whether you made it or not--well, at least for me, because the stress of not knowing is awful for me .
Hayzel, you're doing very well in the challenge. It's definitely harder to lose fat when you have less to lose (as Leigh keeps telling me). Hope you enjoyed the dance class. And, totally off-topic here, but your hair is gorgeous!
Looking good! It looks like you have possibly lost a little in the love handle area, hard to tell, but that was my first impression and comparing to the previous pictures, still my impression.
Looking great Hayzel... and I'll keep my fingers crossed for the 2 lbs. next week! I second Karen's comment on your hair, too... I didn't realize you had long hair from your earlier photos LOL!

UPDATE: Sorry, I have been a bit MIA! I've been busy with work and getting ready for my audition next week, but I have been following through with the challenge. Here is my update post for the challenge. I plan on making another post following this information with a bit more information about my experience during the challenge and my plans for the future.
Thanks to everyone who has been responding! I appreciate your support and feedback

Sorry about the difference in size/contrast! Now that I am posting these, I wish I had tried to keep the settings a little more consistent. However, I think I can see a few differences in my body composition regardless of the formatting

I didn't save any pictures of my meals because they all come out kind of yucky looking. Food photography seems to be a skill that I am lacking However, I did see Leigh's post about needing to include a picture of one of our meals, so below I have a picture of some leftover Lasagna (Shari's recipe minus the eggplant) and my protein pancakes. Hopefully this meets the criteria! I made both of these in huge batches and then portioned them out so I could eat them throughout the week and this was what was left by Friday afternoon.

I had a pretty rough time the week before the audition, but I was able to pull through and put my all into the audition. I am really excited to start this new chapter of my life. I am keeping super busy at this point, so it is unlikely I will be updating anytime soon.
However, I just wanted to say thanks for all of the help and support I received from each of you on this forum. I wish everybody lots of luck with continuing their own journeys towards their dreams and aspirations
