I am again happy for the loss, but working on making it more this coming month! I am focusing more on my food, and eating more fruits and veggies so far it feels good, so I think next month there will be a bigger loss!
Visually virtually no change, which sucks, but the numbers are down a little. I am mad at myself for doing really well at the beginning of the month and then blowing it all in one week. I'm trying to drag myself back on the wagon, though, so hopefully it will be better next time.
Not much in the way of changes, though my waist measurements have gone down a bit. My weight dropped down to 124-125 last week but it's back up to 126, which is fine with me. I'm really more interested in gaining strength at this point. (I'm not sure what's going on with my hair in the second photos - it doesn't usually look like a bowl cut, I swear.) September on the left, October on the right.
Well, not much, if anything, in the way of progress. I need to get a little more serious this month. My weight was down below 133 a week ago, and I know I'll go back down. Just always seems to bounce up at picture time (which coincides with TOM, just a fact, not an excuse). My pants are still fitting pretty loose. Maybe I should by some tighter pants to help me feel 'fatter' during the day and keep me focused on my goal.
I did have my bf taken by one of the new trainers last week (I made sure she did it by my standards) and it was down to around 20% vs. 23%. But since the first was done by someone else, I don't take that too seriously. I think it probably is down rather than up, though.
Well, I was mildly astonished by my results this month. I've lost nearly 10 lbs since the beginning of this challenge, despite one entire rest week with loose eating and another rest week with restricted eating. Both rests were between stages and included lots of NEAT--hiking, biking, outdoor sports.
My waist measurement has finally moved--I was stuck around 30 for months--and I'm comfortably wearing 8's, which I couldn't wear even when I weighed less in my 20's because I had so little lean mass, relatively. I'm wearing the smallest size I've worn in 20 years.
weight--162 to 152.5
BF(omron) 28.2 to 27.0 (-1.2%)
bust 38 to 37 (-1)
ribcage-- 32.5 to 32 (-.5)
waist--30.75 to 29.75 (-1)
hips--39 to 36.75 (-2.25)
calf--15 to 14.75 (-.25)
The best thing about this month is that I did my first pullup on my 46th birthday, Friday. I was fooling around with my daughter and the chinup bar, and I've been deep in stage 6, so I decided to try it and lo and behold, I did it. I have never done a pullup in my life, that I can remember, anyway.
It's particularly funny that I was all freaked out earlier this month about stage 6, and I finally stuck it out and was able to lose even though I felt my compliance was a little lax due to extra hunger. I finally have a handle on steady losing, it only took me two years to really get the hang of it. I guess it was worth all the agony.
Wow. I had to change photo services to get that post fixed. Snapfish is incompatible with this board as far as I can tell. Photobucket was so easy that I regret ever using snapfish at all. Whew.
And if anyone can help me figure out how to make those pics smaller, please IM me. : )
The major regret that I have this month is my lack of control in eating on vacation (we're not even talking moderation here!!) I have moved on of course, but it took me almost the remaining two weeks to get back to the weight that I was when I left (130). The main thing though is that I'm back on track.
The other problem I see is that my body fat % isn't really decreasing even though I'm losing weight...if my scale is accurate (and I think it should be as I only count the bf% when I am at the same hydration levels), I've actually lost 1.5 lb of muscle and basically no fat. The mirror says differently though...so whatever. Anyway I know my measurements are going down and I'm getting lots of pr's so whatever...right?!
So, I've been MIA this past month but am ready to get my ass back in gear. I managed to maintain my weight at 170...this month, aiming for 5 pounds in loss....Just got the new tae bo ... god i heart billy
Weight: 170 maintained (-6 since august)
chest: 40 (- 2 since August)
waist: 31 (-2 since august)
hips: 40.5 (-4.5 since august)
thigh 24.5 (- .75)
calf: 15 (-.5)
bicep: 13.5 (-.5)
left side is august, right today...can't find the original shorts... maybe in the laundry.. these are much tighter in the waist giving me more muffin top than appropriate fitting pants would...they'll look great next month!
I am just re-posting these because I haven't made any changes. Only a couple lbs. I apologize, I haven't been around lately due to some family tragedies. I would like to get back into it.

Notes:
I completed stage 6 this month, which means that I've done the entire program all the way through! Also, I reached a milestone weight wise- 20% of my body weight gone since January (I started the year at 215 lbs) I also took one 'unscheduled' rest week, during which I also ate like crap. Curiously enough, after the inital water retention went done, I had lost MORE weight, so I think I'm going to incorporate a few more 'refeeds'. Work out wise, I'm doing 6 stage 7 workouts, then repeating stage 6, then doing 6 more stage 7 workouts, which will take me through to the end of the program. My next weight milestone will be 164lbs- meaning a healthy BMI.
Sorry this will be a short update, and I am very sad I haven't had time to update my log, just been busy with school. But I have made sure I get my routines in and and watch what I eat (well most the time).
Getting in just under the wire with this update. My pics will look like I've made progress, but really I've just decided that in order to actually be consistent I need to take my pics with my stomach held in like I usually do, I have a really hard time just relaxing my stomach without actually pushing it out. So these will look better than my previous ones, but I have actually been slacking quite a bit this month
Okay I weighed 204.6 on Sat- Starting weight 213,
but I haven't been home since then and I hope its okay if I add my measurements tomorrow. I'm at work and haven't got a chance to break out the measuring tape without the next person stealing the computer.

Large photos are this month - collages are previous month. Photo Bucket makes this 10x easier! I see some little changes, but not much month to month. 10 minutes before midnight
