Hi Bev, finally checking in. Looks like you are doing great. I see a huge difference in your waist/belly in your Sept photos! Keep up the good work.
Your goals look good for this next month. I am so proud of you for doing walking lunges in the parking lot. Have you done your first Power Training workout yet? I've decided to stick with what my trainer set up for me for now but plan to do PT next.
I'm glad you're doing the pushup program too! I loved it at the beginning. Now it's tough.. I'm on week 3 and I'm doing each day 2 times. Is your hubby doing it with you?
How are you doing with the soda? I'm at 1/day and I'm staying there. It's a real treat for me and I'm okay with that amount. At least it's 0 calories!
Be sure and log your Power training workouts. I want to see what exercises you pick since you're a home exerciser and don't have access to all the gym stuff. Thanks.
Hey!! Thank you! I am happy with them. I didn't realize how bad my posture was till I looked at the pic of Aug. It was embarrasing.
I hope to read a lot more of PT before I get home so I can start it Sunday. I am looking forward to it. How long is your program that your PT put you on? Just curious when you will start power training.
I got a little behind in the pushup plan but I'm still in it. I love it. I guarantee I will also double them up like you are. It makes sense. I am doing 2 a week instead of three till I quit being so sore from them. Yes, my husband is doing it everytime I do. He started on week 2 like Instablue did because he could do alot. I will log his next time just for fun. I need to suggest that to Instablue too since her husband is doing them to.
The soda thing is sure easier allowing 1 a day. I think we are doing justfi e! Like you said, 0 calories:
I will be working up my nerve for my pushups tomorrow in the parking lot along with the lunges. Wish me luck! I hope I don't chicken out.
Oh yeah, I will definitely log my PT. The ones with the success Log! I want to be one of these people, plus it's fun to share it. I love reading others progress in the training so I want to be a part of all that!
Working today so no exercise. I had a terrible night last night, trouble with our load so I was up and down all night. I might have gotten 4 hours sleep all broken up. I was so sleepy today I ate a little more than I planned and drank 3 soda. This never happens so I just accept it was a rough day and tomorrow is another day to strive for excellence. (Thanks Tom) That is definitely my new saying. I will have to put that in my sig.
Sorry to hear you had a rough night. I hope you get caught up tonight. You've got a great attitude about it!
My program is 18 weeks. 6 blocks of 3 weeks each. It will take me through the first week in Dec. (I may take a rest week midway through) I'm thinking of doing the strength segment of Power Training after that with lots of eating and very little cardio. Then after that 12 weeks, start cutting so that I'll be ready for bikini season.
Hi Bev! Your progress pictures look good! You are doing really well, especially with working in your exercise while you are out of the road. Hope you were able to catch on your sleep last night.
I kept putting Instablue instead of Instantblue. Sorry
No problem! I'm terrible with switching around letters and skipping them while typing, so I definitely can't judge! Plus, I should just put my name in my siggy so you can use that
I love your new saying! For me, it's so hard not to beat myself up over a little slip up or a rough day, and really, it's just one day!
Chloe2, you have a good plan (thinking far ahead). I had this bad habit over the years of slacking off over the winter with the thought that it's so long till summer. I think that's why I'm still here at 163lb LOL! I'm such a procrastinator.
Thank you Karen & Christine! I am still trying to get my pushups in today. Yesterday was too busy but me and my husband did take a walk at a rest area which was nice. It was a walking track through old lava flows.
Amaria, What a pretty name. Thanks, it's nice to match a face with a name (hint, hint Chloe2)
(I couldn't log yesterday, no Internet service.)
Calories about 1600
I ate out I meal so not sure about exact macros. Pretty high carb though.
20 min walk
No time for more exercise.
I finally got my calories down, I was out of the truck most of the day so I couldn't eat. I guess it doesn't matter how you do it.
I did my pushup program! Yay!! (in the parking lot)
Week 2 day 1:
9
8
6
4
13
My husband was asleep so no coach today. I might would have made it to 15 on the last set. Maybe next time!
I was in a warehouse most of the day supervising the loading so no other exersize today. Rats!! (I was looking forward to lunges)
Amaria, What a pretty name. Thanks, it's nice to match a face with a name (hint, hint Chloe2)
Just can't do it yet Bev. I'm still nervous about having a pic of my dog for all to see and someone figuring out that I'm posting pics of myself in a bikini! Maybe someday...........
Hooray for pushups in the parking lot!! You go girl!
I think logging your food is a good idea. I think twice before eating too much when I know I have to show those calories on here. We'll keep you accountable.

Ha, ha, me too. I haven't worn my challenge photo publicly because I am embarrassed about posting headless bikini pics here Someone may recognize my bikini
Bev, given your circumstances, you are doing a great job while you are out on the road. Keep it up!

I was worried about this too, but then all that discussion about who in your real life even knows about the challenge got me thinking that not many people know about it, so the chances of them finding it on the great wide internet are slim. Plus, if they did find it, I (plan on) being really proud of my before/after self, so I won't mind that much. I think. Well, I tell myself that because I still think no one will really find it. If they did, I would prolly be embarrased. But whatever

I've said this before, but GO YOU! for working out wherever you are! Nice job on the pushups! I hope your hubby can help you next time. I like it when mine is there to encourage me, and he asks me to encourage/critique him when he's doing it. And because you asked, he just started week 5 today, and it's a HUGE jump. Crazy. But he made it!

I am finally back. Thanks guys for checking in on me. I am sooo sorry I was gone so long without a word. I had alot going on the last few weeks. I am a very emotional person and tragedies hit me hard. I tend to keep to myself. (I don't deal well).
I hope to get back in the swing of things! My goal is to lose 5 lbs this month and stick to 2 full body w/o's per week.

Thats OKAY. I was very nervous about posting my pic but I figured no one that knows me is in to fitness so who would happen on the site. But just my luck there will be someone. I will be very embarrassed!! Plus I take Terrible pics. I always look crazy.
Welcome back, Bev! And you had a birthday? Happy Belated Birthday. Even with everything happening in your life, you are still down 5 lbs from when the challenge started. I'd say that's something to celebrate. You'll get back into it, I have no doubt. Glad to see you!
Bev, you are back, yay! Sorry you've had to deal with difficult circumstances. You will get right back in the swing of things.
Welcome back
THANKS!!! I AM SO GLAD TO BE BACK

I didn't track my food this week. Gotta get back on that!
I miss lifting low reps. I am taking a break from my push-up program, I think it was hurting my wrist. I was having problems with it but its getting better since I stopped. I did play around today and did 2 chin-ups with my arms starting out at almost 90 degrees. That was exciting. I did 2 assisted a little by my hubby with arms straight. I have never been able to do that. Happy!!
Woohoo! Look at that bench press! You are one strong girl!!! Very impressive!
I owe it to growing up on a farm and a dad that didn't separate girls from hard work! Thanks

Yeah, I was super excited. I was just in the gym messing around, not working out. Thot I would just try. I was so surprised when I did it that I hollered out and scared my husband half to death. (he had his back to me on the PC.)
