haven't logged anything lately, but i had been keeping busy...

maintained the weight so that is quite good...

so went to the gym for squats today

5 minutes C2 rower
2x10 pushups
10 overhead squats with some bar

Squats:
10x135
5x225
5x295
2set 3x315
when i went for the 3rd set at 315, i got this wicked sharp pain in my shoulder as soon as i unracked the weight. right around the bony part on top of the shoulder...

so now whenever i try to put my arm overhead, i get this really bad pain...

so i ended the workout then and there.
hopefully its nothing bad

first workout from being back on a mPSMF (doing another round of 4 weeks of PSMF, but modified to allow some beer on the weekend and some fruit as well haha)...went much better than i thought it was going to go, despite my shoulder still being wacked out haha

warmup:

5 minutes C2 rower
2x10 pushups
2x10 BW walking lunges
2x10 bench press 95lbs

Front Squats:
10xbar
5x135
5x205
3x3x225

Barbell Rows:
3x5x135
3x185

Rack Pulls - double overhand grip:
2x5x225
5x295
3x3x315

Pull throughs:
4x10x150
2 sets with more focus on hamstrings
2 sets focus on lower back

Dips:
BWx5
Bwx5
Bwx4 - couldn't get the 5th rep, so i just went really slow going down

Tricep Pushdowns SS w/ Face Pulls - same weight
20x50
20x60

Ab Pull Downs:
4x10x100

Ab wheel on knees
2x10

Was my first workout wearing my new chucks as well. i felt much stronger and was able to stay tight much easier than using my old cross trainers.

PSMF still sucks haha

I love my chucks. They do feel much better when lifting than trainers.

water weight is coming off nicely...though, it can be quite the inconvenience to have to piss all the time...especially having to hold it during a soccer game. though, it was my last soccer game for the season...now i just need to get my certification and i'll be able to officiate all over the state...i have to wait till winter though...

gym tomorrow...upper body...don't know what i'm going ot be able to do, but i'm going to try to work around my shoulder pain

I, sadly, know what you mean about having to piss all the time. I drink a ton of water daily, and am constantly going. Today's going to be even worse for me because I'm very clearly holding onto some extra water.

Be careful with that shoulder!

gym was totally empty today...very few people there haha
made it easier to get in and get out though, which was nice

5 minutes C2 rower
2 times through this circuit:
15 pushups
10 ab pulldowns
10 lat pulldowns
10 BW squats

Bench Press
10x135
10x135
3x3x185
1x205
1x205
1x205

DB Bench Press
4x8x60s

Lat Pulldowns
4x10x150

Misc Bicep Curls to end the day

shoulder is feeling better, still sore and get sharp pain every now and then...but it is much better. so hopefully it will continue to get better...but till then taking it easy on it, seeing as how my health insurance is gone

still can't back squat, which is aggravating, damn shoulder haha...but i still can deadlift, so thats what i did today

5 minutes C2 rower
twice through circuit
10 pushups
10 BW squats
10 walking lunges

Front Squat
2x5x135
5x2x185

Light and easy

Deadlift
5x135
5x225
3x1x315
2x1x385
1x405 *

45 deg back extensions using my band choked on the equipment
3x8

pull down abs ss w/ face pulls - same weight
3x10x110



*first ever DL over 400. Felt great, went up nicely. that pumped me up - so i went ahead and tried 455...and nothing haha. i'll get it soon.

back extensions were pretty hard with the band. got some looks my way haha.

Shoulder started to get achy at that point, so i did some ab work and left. was wanting to do some dips, but that was a no go, so i just did the pushdowns.

going to go up the park and drag the sled later this afternoon
