It seems like there is a lot less activity in the NROL4W forum lately...could it be that everyone is chatting in their training logs?

I've noticed that too. It seems like when I started there were a lot more posts, now there are hardly any. It could also be that now the original group has finished the program, so all the questions have been asked and answered and everyone is just looking back at old posts rather than asking the questions again.

I am just catching up in here, I am finding that the challenge is keeping me motivated to watch, if nothing else, my calories, and to keep going at the gym, even when I don't feel like going. Those are the nights that I tend to keep going the hardest and really push myself.

I'm doing good so far. As of this morning, I was down another 1.2 lbs, but my official weigh in day is tomorrow, so we'll see how things look tomorrow. Good, I hope. I feel like I've finally gotten all of the pieces together and I'm just so happy with how I'm doing. I've got a long way to go yet, but the forward progress is really making me happy. And the even better news is that the deficit isn't killing me. yay!

I have been kinda bummed actually and not chatting in here because of it!!!...My body waited till the start of the challenge to hit a wall...lol...I guess I'll see with my measurements if it really was a wall, or just a little hill...

Sidonia, are you tracking your food? I know you're working hard in the gym...could your body have adapted to the workouts? How's your water?

I know you'll find your way through this wall--hang in there!

I do the same thing when I'm a little "bummed" as you put it. I hope you see good measurements or a big weight loss next week.
Keep Working Hard! It will all be worth it.

I guess it is just about that time of the month. But this was the first 2 week spread where I didn't see a loss...and it even may have gone up! I try not to weigh every day...but it's frustrating! I do measure/track my food, I've been using my food diary.com. It could be water...I'm hoping!!! IT seems that my weigh in and measurements will always be around my time of the month...lol...

Thanks for the encouragement!!! I'm hoping to see some changes in the measurements, maybe the weight is just sticking...I'm hoping the inches will tell a better story!!!

When I was working out hard in the gym, inches always told a better story for me than the scale. I hope that's the case for you. When I'm getting to TTOM, I try to up my water a bit more and watch out for too much sodium in my diet, and that seems to help me (otherwise I'm usually up a bit for a couple of days, too).

Sigh... well all I can do is commiserate! I'm up 1.5# from yesterday - I KNOW I didn't overeat by 5000 kcal!!! Water retention / hormones / random shitty luck and weird cycling SUCKS when it comes to scale readings .

Why does it always seem (for me, at least) to bounce upwards HUGE overnight but rarely bounce down in a huge amount?

Same here actually. I'll go up more in a 24-hour period than I'll go down. Luckily for the smaller jumps I go down more often.

I kinda hate to chime in here to tell about my success. I feel bad Bytsi that the scale didn't work for you this week. Keep going. I know it will show up better for you next week.

I lost 4.2 lbs this week. That makes 5.4 for the challenge so far. I have not been as successful at the workouts as the rest of you. However, my eating, for the first time in a long time has been in line. I am working on getting better at the workouts and will post them as I do them in my log.

Don't ever feel bad that you're doing well!! Congratulations!!!!!!! Glad to see the eating is going well for you

FWIW, it was back down the 1.5# this morning (whew!!!) so I'm at 1/2# above my lowest recent weight... not perfect, but I'm ok with it and MUCH better than being 2# above it

Nice! Sounds like you've got the hardest part down. One thing at a time. Keep up the good work. You're success is motivating to the rest of us.

Has anyone experience with Turbulence Training? Just looking around and they have a 21 day trial and can't seem to decide what to get. Curious about it.

Dang! Good job. I'm up 2.5 lbs. as of today. But clothes aren't tighter, so I'm not going to sweat it.

I wish I did, I have been contemplating buying it for months now. Can't decide either.
Do you have Precision Nutrition? They have a 12 week TT plan for members to try for fatloss? I can send you the link. I just found it yesterday.

Thank You! Don't you just hate the scale fluctuations. Last week it showed I gained 2 lbs for one day to the next and then a loss of 3 lbs few days later.
I know my salt was the culprit. My clothes were not tighter either. Wierd. I am trying to weigh myself a little more often to see what foods effect that. Just to learn my body.

TT has been talked about a lot on this forum......do a search and you can find many threads. Here's one:

I don't have Precision Nutrition yet either. There is just so much out there, it is hard to decide what. I would love the link.
