Commentary:
I got bogged down grading and I'm still not finished. Luckily, I got my weekly meal planning and grocery shopping done. I am still aiming to finish the grading before I go to bed. As for the bathrooms...I'll just have to do them tomorrow. Fortunately, we never let our bathrooms become gross but I usually try to tackle them first and then the kitchen. Everything else will get done when I get to them. All in all...a good start.

1. Do a FIRM Cardio Workout DONE (FIRM Cardio Sculpt Blaster and 15 minutes Wii FIt)
2. Clean Bathrooms In Progress (Did 2 of the 3; Plan to do the Master Bathroom on Thursday)
3. Finish Grading Discussion Board Posts Still In Progress (Couldn't finish last night but I'm more than 3/4 of the way done so I should be finished tonight)
Commentary: I could have much better than I did but I got to bed late, was awaken by the damn gardeners and slept until 11am. I really need to take myself to bed at a reasonable hour and let go of my vampiress tendencies Tomorrow I have to get up early to workout because I'm going to my grandparents' house in West Bumblefuck so tonight I have to finish the discussion board grading since I need to grade film analysis worksheets (about 90) on Thursday and Friday.

OK, first... I'm jealous that you have THREE frigging bathrooms. We have ONE. Yesterday, Benjamin had to go so badly when Arthur was in there that he was literally begging me to let him go outside and pee behind a tree. (I didn't let him, in case you're wondering.)
Sounds like you're making excellent progress with the grading... nice! I know how great it feels to get caught up on that when you're behind. SUCH a good feeling of relief!
Your way with words always cracks me up... have fun at your grandparents, even if it is in west Bumblefuck.
Look at this... 2 days in a row, and Tracey and I haven't even had to e-mail you yet!

2. Visit Grandparents DONE (I did my Good Christian Deed for the Day )
3. Buy Toliet Paper DONE (Used a Costco Coupon and Got a Great Deal)
4. Shampoo, Deep Condition, Blow Dry and Flat Iron the Coif DONE (otherwise I would have gone out of the house looking like a petrified skunk....Egads, I can't wait to get my roots done on Sunday)
Lori - Though your kids might need an extra bathroom, cleaning one is another matter all together. All three of ours are on different floors of the house (quad level townhouse) and carrying cleaning supplies up and down the stairs worked my hamstrings, quads and heart out like nothing else. I'm tackling the master bedroom tomorrow which is a big pain to clean since it's used more often than the others.
Tracey - My grandparents...let's just say...I deserve canonized for putting up with those two sometimes. I love them, don't get me wrong, but those are two of the crankiest, most ornery seniors I've ever encountered. I have to breathe deeply ever time I visit (and Len just doesn't even bother anymore). And why they live so darn far away and get pissy when we don't visit is beyond any of us. The visit was okay but that drive was hellacious, as always. I refused to let go of my fitness routine because I was visiting them though so I'm really proud of myself.
3 days in a row....Suffice it to say, I didn't track squat in terms of food. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.
Hey - just look at all the NEAT you are going to get cleaning all those bathrooms!!!! And I totally get what you are saying about the grandparents! My DH's grandparents are kinda like yours! We love them to pieces, but........

Ahhhhhh, Lori - You know I love you too. I gave into my "I just don't wanna do it" attitude. But I knew you'd come looking for me.
I took off Thursday because I needed a break which rolled into Friday. I cleaned the house from top to bottom this morning and spent the day with the hubby. I have a hair appt. tomorrow (Sunday) so as to not sweat out a good hairdo, I'm planning to just play on the Wii and get back to tracking my food (looks like Weight Watchers is going to win because there is no way I can maintain planning and tracking for OPT style eating). Not going to dwell on my mistakes too long. Just keep pressing forward.
Dinner with brother got postponed because my brother and my nephews are all sick. We will spend time with them on Easter (also nephew #1's 6th birthday).
Glad to see you back, Donna! I knew that e-mail would work!
Good luck with the hair appt. today... I need to do that myself! Hey, and you're absolutely right not to dwell on mistakes... if we did that, we'd never get anywhere... cause lord knows I make PLENTY of them!

I'm here..I'm here...Just buried under a pile of hot rancid garbage that my students call writing
Haha... I can relate to garbage work that students think should qualify for a grade! *sigh*

Right back at ya, babe! Mwah!
Gotta say that I love the quote you put in your signature... and it's good to know that students remember SOME things that their sixth grade teachers tell them!
Good luck with your busy day today! Love the new avi... that haircut is working for ya!

1. Do quickie FIRM workout and abs - DONE (FIRM Hit Every Muscle in 5 Minutes; FIRM Abs Workout #1)
2. Track WW Food Points - DONE
3. Set Up Discussion Board Prompt - DONE
Comments: It was a long day but I did very well with the eating and I'm glad I was able to do some form of exercise even if it only totaled 10 minutes. DH just ordered a new treadmill which should be delivered in the next week or so. I'm happy about it because I really want to complete the Couch to 5K program.
Lori - That avi picture is from about a year ago but I just cut my hair back into that style. It's shorter and far more manageable than when I let my hair get too long. I love Mrs. Leslie's quote. She said it a million times so it definitely stuck with me.
Go Donna! Look at you getting everything on your list DONE!
Congrats on getting in some activity - every little bit counts! And congrats on the new treadmill! Of course, now you know that you will have NO excuses!!
Tracey - No excuses is right. Len is staying home tomorrow because we got word that the treadmill will be delivered.
4/8/09 Task List
1. Do Cardio Workout - DONE (Turbo Jam Burn and 20 Minute Workout)
2. Laundry - DONE (Washed, Folded and Put Away)
3. Grade Film Analysis Worksheets for Class #2 - DONE (I hate this part of the job )
4. Get ADT Security Quotes - DONE
5. Mail package and letters - FAIL (Totally forgot )
6. Track WW Points - DONE (ate a bit over my daily target but didn't over-eat my weekly flex points)
Comments: I ate a bit more than I should have at dinner. But those darn parmesan chicken ravioli with pesto sauce were damned good . I'm still on track with Weight Watchers so I should be alright.

Good job Donna! Hell, I'm impressed with just the laundry! I NEVER manage to get it put away....
Me, too! I can get the washed, dried and folded part done pretty well...it's the putting away part that I usually fail - maybe cuz that requires me to take it all up two flights of stairs!!
Nice job, Donna!!! Glad to hear the treadmill is arriving today!
I'm late in posting but I did get in a workout on Thursday (which has been a major problem since I was stopping after Wednesday). I did Turbo Jam Ab Jam (standing abs). I ended up taking Friday off because my obliques were so sore that I could hardly move.
The treadmill didn't arrive as planned. No, NordicTrack shipped the iFit cards separately but UPS has listed the poundage for the treadmill on the tracking website. Len took a day off work for nothing (not that he didn't need the mental health day).
Although I haven't been on WW for a week, I've decided that I'll do my weigh-ins on Saturday mornings so as of today, I'm 2.3lbs lighter than I began on Monday. Funny thing is that Len said, he could tell I've been working on fairly consistently because I don't look as bloated when I'm working out. Though I certainly didn't want to hear that I look bloated, I think it's his way of encouraging me to stick with it.
I'm planning to go to the gym today to get on the elliptical machine while Len is on his conference call for work.
I just subscribed to your log. Sounds like you have the determination and humor to see your way through all the things life's been throwing at you.

Compliments can come out pretty funny sometimes. I just figure it's a sign of total sincerity when they get said unedited like that.

Welcome to Donna's log LOL! Another person to chase her down... yay!
(not that we'll need to... right Donna?) It is Easter weekend, so I'm giving you a break for the next couple of days LOL!

Jennifer - Thanks for stopping by. Yes, compliments can come out funny esp. from my husband who is British and sometimes doesn't realize when he's being insulting or is that because he's a man.
Lori - No need to hunt me down but I did take a couple days off to spend time with my nephews. My oldest nephew, Joseph Jr., turned 6 yesterday so we spent time doing an Easter egg hunt and eating birthday cake. Talk about a sugar overload
Tracey - I'm here just busy as hell as usual. The treadmill is set to arrive on Wednesday. I'll be here to receive it this go-round.

Comments: I went to bed last night around 7pm but was awaken around mid-night with bad cramps and bloated back. I stayed up until 3am and couldn't sleep so I dragged this morning. Fortunately, I got most of the stuff done on my to-do list for today. 6 more weeks of classes and counting. I cannot wait for this madness to end

Sounds like you had a great Easter (I too had candy overload) and birthday celebration for your nephew!
Bummer about the sleep... it seems like whenever I try to go to bed early, either one of the boys wakes up throwing up or I wake up and can't go back to sleep... totally sucks. I hope you're feeling better today.... and I'll do the countdown right along with you. After next week's vacation, I've got 8 more weeks.
