I have been lurking on this site since January when I first bought NROLW and have succeeded in nothing but gaining a few lbs! I need the structure and accountability, so I'm looking forward to it!
Wasn't sure where to start a new thread to ask this question so I thought I would pop it in here.
What is everyone planning on doing for this challenge. I am still trying to decide on a work out plan so any ideas would be great.
I'm going to continue on with NROL4W and I haven't quite decided to do after that. I have the original NROL, however, Jane has made Power Training sound appealing so I might try it.

I put together my own kettlebell plan. Then I went and did something to my knee yesterday. I am going to try to work it out on my own this week (this is not a new thing). If I can, I will continue with my original plan with some minor tweaks. If not I will probably get BulletProof Knees and add on to that for upper body! Not that I can afford it but I am SOOO tired of my knees bothering me. I guess it is cheaper than going to the doc and probably for more effective since the docs around here are used to looking at 80 year old arthritic joints. (No offense to anyone with 80 year old arthritic joints)

I'm going to finish up NROLFW and then maybe do NROL. Though, I'm with Anne, what Jane is doing sounds awfully interesting. My other idea, if an unexpected bonus comes my way, is to get a custom program from Leigh. I bought FLTS, but I don't know if OPT is what I really need to be doing - just not sure about the deficit thing since I am already at maintenance.
I will have to look into what Jane is doing then. Although I can't spend anymore money on books, mags etc... I managed to get Cassandras book transfered to my crappy library.
My hubby suggested the 300 workouts. That is what he is doing at work, but not sure if it is for me...
I've got power training and it's a pretty good book, so that's the plan I'm going to do. I'm in the middle of making my spreadsheet and getting it ready. I was hoping to start in the near future - i.e. before August 4th, but it doesn't look like my schedule is letting up until then, so I guess I'll wait. My plan is to do the 2 day a week full body workouts (maybe push pull, but not sure), then some SS cardio and maintain my Pilates classes. It's kind of a mixed bag, but I'll be working hard to peel off a lot of lbs, and I don't want to be fighting a vicious appetite along the way, as well.
Jane - maybe you could get a job on QVC or something since you've probably sold tons of people on TNT, NROL4W and Power Training. I'm pretty sure you could making a killing in commission!
We are up to 79 interested so far. I will be posting the BEGINNING PICS thread this week to give everyone LOTS of time to get their pics and stats posted. Stay tuned.
Do we post our plan in the beginning pics thread as well or just pics and stats?
Also how specific does our plan need to be? I have created my own plan. Do I need to post the details of it? In my log perhaps since it isn't as easy as "I'm following XYZ book/plan"?

Yes, post your plan and your pics and stats. I've got the rules all laid out in the BEGINNING PICS thread. You don't have to be super specific...just give us a gist of what you will be doing.
I'm just about finished with stage 1 -have been doing the workouts religiously. But I haven't had much time to even lurk in here.
Am I too late to join in this challenge?
Nope, plenty of time. I would guess that anyone who can manage to get their pictures, plan and stats posted in the thread by August 4th will be considered in the challenge. See Jane's link to that thread about three posts above.
The thread was posted early, maybe it was taken down? I didn't used to get that message, but now I get it as well, and I actually posted on it when it was first there. Maybe Jane will be starting a different thread?
I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and will not be back until Aug 5th. I won't be able to post my pics and stats while on vacation but I'd really like to join this challenge.
Any ideas???? Could I send my info to someone to post for me after Jane posts the official thread or is that too weird since no one knows me yet?
"1. You can do any plan ... does NOT have to be NROL4W ... you can change plans mid-stream ... but you have to state what your plan is ... disqualification if you are doing something stupid like Kimikins."
I'm pretty new to this. I know what NROL4W is, but you said it could be "any plan"; what are some other options?
You could do
Power Training
Maximum Strength
Regular NROL
Perfect Body Diet Program
Warp Speed Fat Loss
Fat Loss Trouble Shoot/Metabolic Repair (if you need to)
Opt
TNT Diet
Those are just some of the ones that people have done around here. I'm sure there are tons more to choose from as well.
You can do anything you want. Any diet/nutrition plan, any workout plan, any fitness book you like....maybe you work with a trainer, maybe you like to make up your own plan. The sky's the limit.
Just popping in to say I'm backing out of this challenge. I'll still be around and getting back into the swing of things as the sickness and exhaustion improve but I just can't do a challenge justice right now. Good luck to all of you!!
