I am having an interesting morning, I got up at 5 to go to the gym and there was a strange car I have never seen parked in my driveway blocking my garage. There were flat tires, broken windows- it looked like it was abandoned. There was no way for me to get out of my driveway at all, so I called the police a little after 5am and they finally got there at 7:15, turns out it was a STOLEN car and the theives have been dropping them in alleys and driveways. The tow truck got there around 7:30 and I could finally get out and head to work.

So I didnt get to the gym, I am little freaked out by it and it looks like they may have been in my yard so I am taking my dog and we are going to stay at Mike's tonight. He is out of town but I feel safer there alone then I do at my house when my roomate isnt there.

It sounds like a good plan. I remember one night coming in at about 4am and there's this car blocking the driveway. I slow down, signal and swear quietly. Eventually the guy pulls forward and I put up the garage door and drive in. As I'm getting out of the car the guy is in the doorway of the garage. He says good morning and hands me the paper. He's kind of lucky I don't freak out easily. I could have backed over him.

scary stuff - can't blame you for being freaked.

i like st. paul - had a friend there and visited a few times when we lived in illinois.

do you like nrol? i had the book, but gave it to my son when he went back to school last month - never did get to read the whole thing. you're definitely off to a good start!

I have had a pretty normal last week, I have been good with workouts and diet. And am loving NROL- I love the legs days, squats make me feel so good. I am finally squatting 120 and it feels so good to feel like I am making progress in strenth.

I leave this afternoon for Raleigh until Friday, and then Chicago until Tuesday for a trade show. Thankfully there is a Lifetime near the hotel I am staying at in Raleigh and I can get a good workout in tomorrow! That always makes me happy

Here are progress pics that I just posted in the monthly pics thread-

I had a very relaxing weekend, did some cleaning, ran errands, and did lots of cooking yesterday. The meeting with the trainer went really well, Laurey had lots of good things to say and came up with a really good plan.

The date of the show is May 16th, and its here in the Mpls area. I CAN DO THIS!!
Hopefully this link will work:
http://www.fromafardesigns.com/ mn/20...20May%2016.pdf

She did measurements, weight, before pics and body fat testing. I am at about 15%, which is good. I won't need to do too much of the "extreme" dieting. That was my major concern, that I would be only eating a few things and have to be so extreme. So for the next few months I will be bulking, eating 2000-2400 calories daily- this might be a challenge. I tend to nibble throughout the day. I guess I will just need to nibble more.

She will be sending me a new workout plan each week, right now its 3 days of cardio, and 4 weight sessions with bodypart splits. I did the bi/tri/ab workout yesterday and felt pretty good during it, it's been awhile since I have done any direct bicep/tricep work so I am a little sore today.

Sunday I made a healthy chicken cacciatore and I will be having that for lunch Today-Friday. We also made a curried pumpkin soup (its an Oxygen recipe), brussel sprouts (I still don't like these!) and a peppercorn garlic marinated pork tenderloin. I will be eating the leftovers from that for dinner tonight before class.

Workout plan for the week:
Sunday I did 30 min cardio and Workout 1
Today was 30 min of cardio and Workout 2
Thursday 20 min intervals and Workout 3
Saturday will be a warmup and Workout 4

Meals today-
M1- Oatmeal and a hardboiled egg
M2- Protein shake with almond milk, banana
M3- Chicken Cacciatore, peapods, cheese
M4- Protein shake with almond milk
M5-M6- Potluck at JL tonight

I have been neglecting my journal, I have been working hard on workouts and eating enough calories and healthy food.

I am up a few pounds and feel like I have added muscle, I will keep "bulking" through the new year and then the fat loss begins, I am enjoying all the food now!

We leave for our vacation on Friday for 10 days in Egypt and I can not wait- so exciting!!
