I also read that you have a GWF also...I have been wanting one for a while and mine is on the way...I was not aware that there was an accuracy issue for people with BF% >40 .....and mine is 52% *yikes*...oh well I'll just have something to look forward to!! I'm also excited about the pedometer feature, I've always wondered how many steps/day I take.

Just a question....what does NEAT stand for??

Oh and I'm always up for shoe/purse discussions LOL.... I would be embarrassed to admit how many Coach purses I own...lets just say it's in the double digits I just can't help myself!!
Hey! Thanks for stopping in... Thanks about my progress...it's slow and steady, but I'm getting there. The best thing I've learned is that the scale...LIES...

I knew about the inconsistency with the GWF when I got it regarding the 40% body fat thing...but I really got it to have a starting point, and then make sure I moved MORE. I don't know that I really believe in the amount of calories it says I burn, but it gives me a reference point to go on day by day. At lteast I know if I'm at xxx amount of calories, I am losing so I should hit somewhere in that range. And yeah...I'm in the 50's at least for body fat right now...but I figure once i get down under 40...it'll still be usefull...so why not? The pedometer is pretty cool...again, I try to outdo my numbers so it's a fun little competition with myself..lol

As far as bags and shoes...we can ALWAYS use another afficionado of those in the logs...

Yeah...what he said! Also known as stuff like chores...gardening, food shopping, walking around the mall, etc...non exercise-exercise...making the effort to just move more in general during daily life. Taking that extra trip to the supply closet at work...walking to lunch...etc...plarking your car MAD far away from the door at the mall...is a favorite of mine...

Default Weight the last few days - WOOT!

So...that stupid whore of a whoosh fairy finally came to visit...and here were the results the last two weeks just for the record: (AF started 5/29 and officially left 6/3)

5/25 304.2
5/26 305.8
5/27 307
5/28 309.4
5/29 309.4
5/30 ? (stayed at a friend's house)
5/31 307.6

6/1 307
6/2 308.8
6/3 309.8
6/4 310
6/5 308
6/6 303.8
6/7 304

Soooooo....quite the drop from 6/5 to 6/6!!! Frickin AF. But...I did land on a new low with Alan thus far with that 303.8...I nearly passed out when I saw it... Now is the game trying to keep that as my new low...

Off to the gym now...for some cardio...or possibly a lift depending on how I feel when I get there...

By all means, commence kittehs, shuz and bags in my absence...

Today's Workout:

It's a little of this, a little of that. It was fun to get to the gym and move some heavy stuff around.

Bench Press
Bar x 10
95lbs x 5
115lbs x 5
135lbs x 3
140lbs x 1 FAIL. (hubby spotting me, totally helped me on this one, I wasn't too far from it, but it was not "all me" by any means...so it doesn't really count!)

Seated Rows
120lbs x 12
130lbs x 10
140lbs x 8
150lbs x 8
160lbs x 8
170lbs x 8
180lbs x 6
200lbs x 4!!!
(these were feeling good today so I pushed them a little bit .)

Overhead Press
50lbs x 12
50lbs x 12
50lbs x 12

Pull Downs
80lbs x 10 - Wide Grip
80lbs x 10 - Narrow Reverse Grip
80lbs x 10 - Really Narrow Reverse Grip
80lbs x 10 - Normal Grip

10mins Speed Bag

20 mins elliptical

Wore my Vibrams for the weight-lifting portion of the workout, I LOVED them for this, and will definitely be doing it again! A nice well rounded workout. Felt good today. Probably because I got lots of sleep this weekend. I need to really work on my sleep during the week, especially with my schedule changing soon where I'll need to be at work and in my chair by 7:00, and won't leave till 4-5:30 depending on the day. Sooooo...gotta get to bed earlier. I am a night owl by nature so we'll see how that goes.

First...I frikin' love your jewelry. It is beautiful and very reasonable. I'm gonna order some this evening. I love the leaf earrings.

Second...now that I've buttered you up...I search mini omlettes on this forum and got an old recipe from Cappuccino in 2004. Do you have a new and improved one? Do tell.

I meant it about the jewelry.

Awwwww...thanks about the jewelry!!! I haven't had as much time as I'd like to make more new things, but I am getting back into it this summer... If you do order...use coupon code Indie15 for 15% off!!! There may be some things on there that are no longer available...if you want you could PM me before you order.........! (no pressure tho...srsly!!!)

I just posted my omelettes here the other day. I was watching Giada at Home on the food network...and I sort of adapted them to my own recipe...which was using all egg whites. (cause the cals are like nothing) The only thing is if you do use ALL egg whites...(it's really better to add one or two eggs) make sure you use chunks of cheese or the kraft crumbles 2% like I did...otherwise they're not as yummy! They need a little cheesyness in the middle...

My back is ALL KINDS of sore...and my biceps and forearms actually...yeouchhh. It's kinda nice tho...haven't been all that sore lately...sometimes I like to feel it.

I get so jealous when I read about how you guys can all lose weight like you do and still PR all over the place. Way to go!

I'm glad you found the woosh fairy even if only for a day or two. That means good things are happening.

Lol...from your lips to my mother in law's ears...

Thanks Lisa! I'll remember that about the Ginger Ale! The nausea has passed...it was pretty good today tho...I got in the locker room and just sat there pouring sweat for a few mins. And after that, just getting up and trying to change made me nauseous again, I had to just give myself a minute. It was a particularly fast paced training this morning. I am seeing results from it for sure...so I am happy!

Oddly enough I find that the diet ginger ale works better. It could be that I just find the regular stuff too sweet now. While doing some research on travel by sea (ie. sea sickness) I read something that talked about Chinese sailors chewing on ginger root ages back. My mother took powdered ginger capsules when on the freighter, and it did help.

Ginger tea is good, crystallized ginger is good, ginger ale seems to work, ginger cookies seem to work (could be placebo ), Ginger Altoids - probably placebo but can help.

but that's regular nausea

exercise induced - who knows.

Hope you are feeling better soon. I tried to PM you but not sure I did it right so you may not have gotten it. Anyhoo, I ordered your Thea and Bette earrings last night. Do you have those is stock? I'm psyched to get them.

Love the mini omlettes. Look how much better my life is since I've found you.

I hate those bench get ups, my old trainer used to make me do them and they are definitely vomit-inducing. I never had to do that many though! You are a rockstar for not puking.

Love the mini omlettes. Look how much better my life is since I've found you.
ROFL....mini omlettes and jewelry...what's life without them? I'm so glad I could help out... It really jogged me into jewelry mode again too, cause I haven't been making much these past few months...I just didn't have time and I was feeling blocked...and now I am really having the creative spark again so thanks!!!
