Ok sooooooooooo.....Vitamin B12 is the SHIZNIT!!! Had SOOOOOO much more energy today...it was ridiculous...everything flowed...no more than a min rest between sets if that. I am really starting to get my energy back and feel more like myself. I LOVE IT! It was painful but fun today. I wish I could do it every day in the morning...oh well...maybe when I hit lotto?
Can't wait to get home today so I can pack for summit-time! Gotta drop the kitty off at the vet...we have to board her...since there's not way I could ask my dad, who is looking after the other kitties to give her an IV twice a day...oh well...she's in good hands...they all love her at the office...and I know they will take good care of her.
We always boarded Mousie, it was just much easier, and the hotel would open the adjacent room if there was no kitty there (never was) so she had decent room and people to feed and pet and play with her.
Donno what we're gonna do about Stan and Flipper… boarding will be expensive for a week, but at least at home they'd have each other… if my sister can be relied upon.
Hey, do shots of B12 give you the same neon pee as the pills do? Just curious.
Paper reference needed please and thank you. Decent cards that can be run through inkjet to make flower cards for etsy.... I have a bunch of ideas, but I'm not happy with the paper I'm finding locally.

We use Red River paper...here's the link to what P believes is the same paper, they just changed the name. He got another slightly different one on sale and bought LOTS of it. The hubby said he's be more than happy to spare some for samples if you wanna try some out! PM me your mailing address if you're interested!

LOL...it was so awesome to meet you too! Yeah...I guess I"ll keep the hubby??? And yes...the weekend was SO much fun. It's so great, now every time i read a post I can actually hear each person talking...
Being Home Update:
Since P and I are not longer at the summit, we tried to drown our sorrows with double deep tissue massages today and then a walk around a neighboring town. It wasn't KC for sure...but it was nice. We miss everyone already!!
I just shot you an e-mail with my mailing address. Your inbox was full

I was thinking that too! Somewhere I got the impression that we'd be doing karaoke Saturday night.
I think you're right - but I also think it worked out for the best as it maximized the talk time people had with each other. Even into Sunday it wasn't uncommon to hear things like, "I'd thought we'd've talked by now" or something similar.

Yeah...I think by Sunday I was REALLY not wanting to leave, and we actually met and talked to two people in the car on the way to the airport that were so cool, and we hadn't had a chance to talk to them all weekend!!

Thanks Karla!! You too...you were Brotastic for sure...and SO strong!!! We can't wait to see you again!!!
I don't remember the whole thing honestly, since I didn't log it yesterday when I got back...but it was the usual metabolic ass kicking that I'm used to, with a few added new fun movements. He was busy thinking them up while I was gone. He said I'm REALLY in trouble on Friday...so I will make sure to log that one....
Weight today...WTF??? 309.6!!!!!!!!! Maybe the bloat is delayed???
Either way, I'm annoyed...but...that's how it goes, I hate the scale and it hates me...it's mutual. Neither one of us takes it personally.

I think your scale is passive-aggressive. ; )
Hey Kristen, I just wanted to say hi and tell you what a pleasure it was to get to know you and Paul just a little. I'm looking forward to next year and seeing all of the great progress we are all making!
And I was serious, you got yourself a good one. : )

Ya know, I had a lot more sympathy for you before I saw your progress pics at the Summit. Damn girl, you're making amazing progress, no matter WHAT the scale says!!!
(but yeah, I still completely get it and hope the scale is nicer to you soon!)

Lol....thanks It really hit me more seeing the photos and hearing everyone's reaction. I guess when I'm in the "thick" of it I am just not open to seeing what's really going on...or what I really look like. I still have a big disconnect there. I still have a hard time with the scale and numbers too! But, I have to learn keep it all in perspective I guess. Easier said than done!
I guess who needs a nice scale if you have a nice measuring tape??? LOLZ!!!
I TOTALLY get what you are saying. The very picture that Alan upheld at the Seminar as progress was when he and I were fighting pretty hard because the scale wasn't moving. In fact, I went to this bbing trainer I know to get measured to PROVE to Alan that he was wrong. Doooop! The results sent Alan through the roof with joy. Of course there was no change in plan from that point on. LOL!
The scale is freak'n evil....

Yeah you have to have faith that he knows what he's doing...and he certainly does!!! If he had told me the scale wasn't gonna move I'd have freaked...it was better this way...LOL!!! And yes....scales are EVIL thing placed on this earth to torture us.

Thanks Kathy! It was so good to meet you too... Next year is gonna be so much fun...especially being the Non-Noobs of the bunch!
I was tired, and achy from my workout with Charlie the other day and I just didn't have it. No stressing it, I just did what I could and left. So...I'm going to be there today for some interval cardio so it's all good!
DB Chest Press
35lbs x 8
45lbs x 6
50lbs x 6
55lbs x 6!!! (I got these done with no spot this time. I didn't even feel like I needed one...it was a little mental PR for me on these!)
Seated Row
120lbs x 12
120lbs x 10
120lbs x 10
120lbs x 10
Machine Flys
90lbs x 15
100lbs x 15
100lbs x 15
Machine Reverse Flys
50lbs x 15
50lbs x 15
50lbs x 15
Pull Downs
80lbs x 10 reps x 4 times (each time with a different grip
Overhead Press
60lbs x 15
60lbs x 12
60lbs x 12
Done. Tired. Oh well! There's always today! Charlie will do my arms tomorrow morning anyway...so I should give them a break.
One little rant tho...as I was coming back from the bench with my 55lb DB's, which don't get me wrong I can press but they're heavy little buggers....this woman is standing RIGHT in front of where I need to put them...and it's pretty obvious since there's nothing in the spaces that that's where I need to go. Anyway, she's standing right in front of the mirror doing curls with 12lb db's...and I said "I'm sorry excuse me" and she huffed and says something to the effect of " I don't see why you can't just wait till I'm done." Now, #1, yes, if I had seen her there I could have waited till she was done but the bench I was using was 3 racks away from her and I didn't notice she was there till I got to her, I famer carried the weights to her. And #2, why can't you just STEP BACK OFF THE RACKS LADY? So I was nice and just said "These are heavy, I just need to put them down and I'll be out of your way" At which point one of the little bros who was next to the lady doing his own curls says to her "you know lady, a general rule of thumb is, if they're carrying more weight that you are, YOU are the one who needs to move" It was kinda funny...I got stuck up for by a little bro...awwwww...aren't they cute???
