Lol....thanks for the froggies and the kitteh!!!

I am feeling like crap yesterday and today but I was trying to ignore it. I am home today from work, and going crazy!!! I don't like sitting in one place for too long. The last two nights I have been coughing so much that the hubby and I are losing sleep!

Hopefully it will be over soon.

Aside from that my teacher in class was accusing me of being absent for more than 3 classes, which is NOT TRUE, and he wants to dock my grade because of it. I hope he's up for a fight, since he doesn't take attendance, I'm curious as to how he came up with that! He's a lawyer, so I must make my case well...but as of now I have an A on my midterm and my two case briefs, and he's threatening to lower it 20%?? Even tho one of the absences is fine according to his own paperwork! According to his paperwork attendance/participation is worth 20%. So I am going to argue that that is vague and overly broad...and see how it goes. LOL!

Good luck arguing with the prof - what a jerk, if he thinks he can penalize you without even taking attendance! Do you have the list of days he says you weren't there (or a doctor's note if you weren't)???

Feel better... get some sleep (I hope!)

Hehehe...I'm already on it! I always check off the days I go to class on my syllabus so I know what I missed if I'm not there. I already emailed him, explaining that I know how many classes I missed, and I know he has never called attendance since class started, so I am curious how he came to his number. I think he'll appreciate the fight, he's a trial lawyer.

I'm not going down without one!!!! Plus, since I'm sick and home...I needed something to do!!!

I HATE SITTING ON THE COUCH!!!! RARARARAR!!!

Good luck with the prof. I have a love/hate relationship with learning. I love to learn new things, but am not always into all the games that come with school.

Hai! How are you feeling? I hope better ...

Isn't it frustrating when your body won't cooperate? I was sick for most of the month of October ... I was raring to go, but know that if I push it, I just get more and more sick. Now that I am better, the scale is moving downward again and things are sailing along ...

Keep your chin up ...

Thanks, it actually went well, I cited lots of things from his own paperwork, and formally objected, and he found it pretty funny, and it worked...so...no drop in grade for now! Sometimes it pays to argue...and it definitely always works to be funny!!!

I was dumb and went to my workout today anyway! I am feeling better during the day, the main problem at night is that I cough pretty much through the night and wake myself and the hubby up in the process!!! I went the desperate route today tho and bought some Nyquil...desperate times call for desperate measures!

Workout tonight: (YAY!!!!)

I can't remember exactly what we did for some of it...so I'll list it generally here.

-Some low step up combinations
-some band work
-ab work, 2 diff kinds 25 ea
-walking punch combinations
-bosu ball work with punch combinations
-upper cut work
-titter tat (fast punching..lol)
-punching with bands for resistance
-punching with 8lb weights

Rowing - 30 mins, 5300m FUN FUN FUN!

Sooooo good today...even tho I was coughing a bit...I still got it done. Since I have recently realized how much fun rowing is, we were thinking about getting a rower, and were pleased to find out that we can get a Concept 2 Rower for about $900!!! Not a small fee, but compared to the larger WAYY more expensive elliptical options that were not as good for my knees...I think a nice option!

Next topic...my left KNEE..OUCH! I don't know what I did. I don't think I did anything. I just woke up with my knee tweaked today, and iced it all day. It feels somewhat better now. Luckily tomorrow will be only more rowing.

Other than that...nothing big...other than a really BAD speeding ticket I narrowly escaped...thanks dad's badge! (retired NYPD) I've never really used the badge, I am a pretty good driver...I was following traffice today and not really paying attention...doing 80 in a 55!! WHOOOOOOPS!!!! Not gonna do that any time soon...I looked down at my spedometer and was like...HOLY CRAP!!!! *phew* close one!

I have been told this evening that the new Tylenol cold and whatever liquid pm stuff is waay better than nyquil. As in, like bourbon going down, and great sleeps.

Feel better soon.

Also verrrrrrry good for ankle mobility when you do start O lifting. Just sayin'.

Yeah...I've noticed that the little bit of pain I used to have in my right ankle is gone now...probably due to the rowing. I am sure I used put a lot of pressure on my ankles because of my knees being in pain all the time...so this is really helping. I just went on Concept2.com and found the one we want...it's exactly $900, now I just need to find somewhere around here who carries it so we can NOT pay shipping!

Yay...some morning cardio would be nice...and on those rainy days I don't wanna go all the way to the gym for a row!!!

Ohhhhhhh........OLY lifting............*dreaming*

you often see Concept2s on craigslist - and if you look at the concept 2 site - if they are having a regatta near you in the near future - apparently you can often get those rowers after the fact at a discount - (or so I hear)

I know I preach to get rest, but I'm a bad sick person too. I either want to be knocked out or fully functional. I hate that in-between bs.

Well, even tho I wasn't at 100% today...I sure gave 100% at my workout! Holy hell was I done afterwards!!!

We started with hand wraps...which meant HEAVY BAG!!! WAHOOOOO!!!

1 Hour Training:

-speed bag routine
-(other ball on the wire routine) still dunno what this one is called...lol
-3 rounds heavy bag, 3 mins each
-30 jabs followed by 30 right hooks, hard as I could. (he liked these - so did i)
-then I sucked it up and did "titter tat" fast jabs into the bag alternating hands for as long as I could.

AND THEN...only 20 mins rowing cause I was SO DONE I couldn't handle 30.

Can't wait for next week...I think he was breaking me in a bit in the last few days...next week will be harder he said...so I'm ready. (or I will be after I rest myself this weekend!!!)

Anywhooo...that's it....off to send Alan my foods!!!

Well...no workout today...I was at a friend's party last night and pretty much standing for about 5 hrs...my knees are SHOT. So...what did I do? I decided to cook today...and stand some more!! Lol...

I made turkey meatloaf x2 - mom's italian style recipe, french onion soup, and cooked up about 24 turkey breast pieces for lunch this week along with the soup, and I baked some cauliflower as my veggie of the week.

I think I'm done for now...!!!!

Thanks.....that's what he calls them....

Also my trainer has some videos of himself on youtube...he's a professional arm wrestler...it's pretty fun to watch...tho they're quick. Thought I'd share one! He's the one on the right.

I'm trying not to be frustrated right now. But I sorta am. I wish my weight was moving like it was back in the summer 1.5-2lbs a week. I really hope we can get it moving again...if not I'm gonna be SO unhappy....also..it's almost that TOM...again...always seems to sneak up on me, so I'm sure that's part of why I'm feeling the way I am. But still...it would be nice not to feel this way. Man...would I take even a 1/2 lb a week at this point....

Bummerz............
