I went to do a 5x5 program that I wanted to try, got done with squats and started to get set for bench press and when I scooched up the bench to duck under the bar I hit a peg doodad thing and got to see stars! Not the same as a guy doing that, but it wasn't any fun either. Yow. Maybe I'll hit the elliptical later and call it good.

Oh my goodness, OUCH! I think I'd call it a day with that, too.
I made some baked goods for DH and a meeting and had some but kept it within calories and mostly within macros so while not 100% diet wasn't totally out of bounds today and yesterday....and I make a killer chocolate chip cookie I might add
DH came home with pizza tonite when he knows I'm running deficit calories and can't have it. The toad got an earful for that
Meanwhile, I did a 45 minute walk around the farm at work yesterday and today I did 40 minutes SS on the elliptical with three HIIT sprints intespersed. For lifting I did the following:
Hi all I think I've got the toad sorta reigned in, although he did keep offering me food today when he shouldn't have :sigh: Had a "refeed" day yesterday and went very low cal today. Both rest days. Realized why I've been feeling like crap warmed over, got a tick bite last week that has turned up a bullseye rash. No wonder I didn't have much energy and many nap attacks! I'll head to the doc for antibiotics tomorrow. That should clear it up. I've had it happen once before, pretty much a big job hazard in my line of work.
Got 45 SS on the elliptical tonite and am starting to feel a bit more energy today thankfully. Got my Rx filled for the tick bite so that ought to clear up ... dang two week course of it though and avoid sun exposure. Ah well. Better than erlichiosis or Lyme disease or what have ya.
WooHoo! Scale is moving again Been pretty strict on food for the most part and starting to see some results there.
Redneck workout was all I got done yesterday, picked 24 quarts of sweet and pie cherries, pitted them and got them ready to make preserves today. Might even bake a pie for DH, cherry pie is his favorite. Thankfully, I'm a cake person so no real temptation there
Meanwhile on tap for today is some kind of working out as well, hope to get in both elliptical and weights while I play catch up around the farm and house and garden.
Susan you're the first woman I know who can do dragon flags

Really? Well then I'm probably doing them wrong LOL. I think I almost did one right and felt my back start to tweak so I went back to the way I had been doing them.
ETA: Yep, watched a Utube on proper form. That was the way that tweaked my back. I'll quit calling what I do a dragon flag LOL.
Redneck workout yesterday was finishing up the cherry jam (20 pints!!) and DH and I slaughtered and butchered a dozen meat chickens we had been raising since spring. Also got 30 minutes on the elliptical, meant for longer but tanked....canning and butchering wore me out LOL.
Maybe you could call it a dragonlet or lizard flag...?
I deserved that
Chicken and cherry jokes...no he was being the grim executioner, I did not crack any jokes, point any headless birds at him or otherwise mess with his butchering mojo LOL.
Got a couple hours of hoofing through the woods this morning done...got covered with ticks despite all precautions. Did the duct tape thing to get a bunch off but I keep finding them, argh!! I'm going home to decontaminate!!
