Got an elliptical workout in tonite, 15 minutes of HIIT (5 sprints), 5 minute rest then 30 minutes steady state.
Also should note that I've switched back to macro balancing for diet, the low carbs were wreaking havoc with my moods and energy levels again and diet fatigue had set in to the point of "I'd rather not eat than eat that..." so it was becoming counterproductive.
Yesterday's workout was turkey hunting. Hoofed it through the woods and fields toting a shotgun for a couple hours. Only thing nicer would have been to bag a turkey but all we saw was a lone hen. Today I'm back to the more formal approach. I enjoyed today's workout with my iPod shuffle about full blast, tomorrow I'm interviewing for a promotion at work so the stress relief was needed. I remain glad to be a home- worker-outer so I can sing No-Leaf Clover loud and off-key and out-of-breath while lifting weights

Well, my interview went okay I think...not superfantastic, but okay. Now I have to wait and see.
Workout later will be steady state on the elliptical. Meanwhile here's a pic of me in my monkey suit for the interview. If nothing else I know I was looking leaner and meaner than the last time the interview folks saw me
More rescheduling...got called out to control burns again today so I got four hours of hiking and smoke breathing in anyway. Kinda too pooped to party with weights tonite tho Did a half hour on the elliptical yesterday. I'll switch to Tues/Thurs/Sat for the week.
All done with the trainer nutbar, want me to pack him up and send him along? I don't know how well he'd take to duct tape though and I'm pretty sure he could beat the everlovin' puddin' outta me LOL. Not a huge guy but he looked rock frikken' solid!
When I was a drug prosecutor, we had controlled burns but weren't supposed to breath the smoke!

Well that's no fun Nothing buzzworthy in the stuff we burn..although every now and again we'll find an old patch of hemp back from when they grew it for rope in these parts circa WWII. Do have to watch the burning poison ivy smoke tho! Not fun either.
Got the elliptical SS workout in for 40 minutes. Prolly should have done an hour and forty minutes as DH is wanting to go to the Mexican place for supper
Got my 15 minutes of HIIT (5 sprints) and 25 minutes of SS done yesterday. Today's workout kinda morphed as I went through it...I'll blame it partly on DH who I called to spot me and it went from there. So I can't really call it NROL4W Stage 4A 2/4 but that's where it started from anyway
Did a two hour turkey hunt yesterday for a workout. Spooked him though and only got to watch him fly away. This morning I heard a shot in that field so I think somebody snuck on the farm trespassing and got him
Got a follow up phone interview for the job...where I found out that my psychopath boss did a hatchet job on me trying to torpedo my chances at it I guess. Did not make for a pleasant day!! My diet is suffering and the comfort food is no comfort so I may as well eat healthy.
Looking forward to much iron and angry music for my workout today

Being the veteran of two completely psycho beeeeyotch bosses (and a few other kinda weird ones!), all I can say is that it's good you're getting out of there! And don't let her "win" by driving you to eat badly... right? Good luck on the interview - do you know when they'll decide?
My turkey is still there!! Yay! DH and I hunted him this morning but he's an old and wiley one and wouldn't work for us, not one gobble. We may try to ambush him off the roost this weekend. Tweaked my back crawling around in the brush so it remains to be seen what the workout will end up being tonite. Also pulled about 8 ticks off me and have a good dose of poison ivy started on my neck of all places. Steroid cream helps calm it down but tends to make me cranky.
Did 4 HIIT sprints on the elliptical tonite. This afternoon I had a long extremely wet and muddy ATV ride to look at a tract of timber. Not over strenuous but lots of fun. Tomorrow we're planning a hunt again if it's weather.
I'm intrigued on the 300 workout, may give that a try for s&g's. DH is headed out of town on business this week so anything spotter required would have to be tomorrow or late week. Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park! Sucks to be him Too bad they didn't let spouses along. Oh and update pics, gotta get those tomorrow too before my photographer leaves for his trip.

Okay, I have to admit that I'm rooting for the turkey! He just seems like he's got the upper hand.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against hunting. I'm just finding the struggle interesting. Hey, I'm trying to get the two indoor cats used to chasing the squirrels out of the yard. The little one has the killer instinct. His brother, not so much. I don't think even the birds have much to worry about with them. Bugs are about their speed.
