You know, I was thinking about the recipe that was too gooey. I bought some soy flour, I wonder if some was in there it would be better, or ever more PP and less milk was it? I gotta try them!

Can't relate since I haven't been in the 'Damn, I look GOOD!' mode for some time now. Oh well... que sera, sera.
Stephanie, good luck with the knee. Don't push it back too early!

Anyway, which of the recipes from above were you using this time? I'd like to give it a try.

Rixa.............The recipe I tried is in post #101 and it's the top recipe in that post.
I have more of those "bad" days than the "Damn, I look GOOD" days. Like everyone else, I'm my own worst critic and have to get out of that.

I think less milk would do the trick, actually. I have to say, these have been a great fit this week as far as a snack. I've eaten them all week and still have 3 portions left. It's nice to have a "go to" snack.

Thanks, Kaiser.............We'll see how it goes today!!!
Today is the last day of testing for my poor 5th grade students. Their brains are just fried. I'm so proud of their hard work this entire week. They get to leave 2 hours early today and I'm hoping that the principal tells us teachers that we can go, too! LOL I'm just as bad as the kids sometimes!

I tested the waters with a walking workout today that had lunges and squats in it. The walking part was fine, the squats/lunges were just a tad iffy. I'll have to see how my knee feels after I get up tomorrow to see if I pushed it too much. Right now, it's just a bit twingy again.
I'm not happy with my HR% of my workout though. It said I burned 309 cals. but my HR only averaged 133 which would be about 58% of max. That doesn't make sense to me but I'll go by what it says since it's normally pretty accurate............Oh, duh! I stopped several times for those stationary squats and lunges so, I'm sure my HR dropped......NM...I'm an idiot sometimes........LOL Well, I'm glad I typed through the mystery.

Wow, Stephanie, nice avatar!
Take the time you need to heal properly. It's only time. Adjust your calories if you need to. Twingy needs TLC.

Thanks, Sally! I will try to take care of it. I don't want to end up worse, that's for sure.

I forgot to post my workout yesterday. I did Cardio Coach Vol. 2 on my treadmill burning 309 calories in the 45 mins. I only did walking as I knew even a light jog would bother my knee. It really ached after the workout, but feels really good this morning.

Awesome - another Lostie!
I've always been partial to Sawyer... wait.... ummm , I mean Kate. Actually, Kate's driving me nuts lately; her character almost seems utterly useless.
Used to be a big Jack fan, but the flash forward at the end of Season 3 pretty much took that away.
Am a big Ben Linus fan now. Not only the (evil) character, but Emerson is absolutely brilliant in the role, and the writers give him the best lines. Same for Ian Cusick as Des - his portrayal is amazing.

Cool - there's hope for brown dudes like me yet! Naveen Andrews just need to 'cut up' a bit to make his characterization of Sayid perfect. He's kinda 'soft' - not what you'd expect from an ex-military badass. He need to look a little more 'Desmond' and a little less 'Locke' in the shirtless scenes. LOL.

While logically I know that this is a self-defeating attitude, "in the moment" it really doesn't seem to matter.
Once the "treat" day is over, I'm able to get right back on track and follow the plan, but I know these days are really hindering my progress. I'm not sure WHAT to do to get around these feelings, but I know that I need to find a way to work things out in order to keep making progress.

Tracey........I know you posted this in your log, but I have to share why this hit home so much for me.
This past week, I had a "girl's night out" planned with 6 other teachers. About every 3 months we get together to do a wine tasting. I talked to Leigh about the wine and came up with a plan so I wouldn't over do it. 4 of us bring a bottle of wine and 3 of use bring appetizers. I did horrible! I did do great with the wine, drinking only 4 oz. of each one, but I totally went off plan with the eats.
So, why am I mentioning this and bringing in your post? Because I told Leigh that it was almost like I "deserved" to eat what everyone else was eating. WOW! What the hell am I thinking???? Like you, it really didn't bother me that night and I did jump right back on plan the next morning after feeling guilty. So, how do we stop it? I have no idea. But, we have to. I have to come up with a better plan, that's for sure.

Kaiser.........I like Emerson, too. I love "hating" Ben! He gets me so mad sometimes that I yell at the TV! LOL
Kate has been disappointing. I still want her to hook up with Jack and not Sawyer......but, we'll see what happens.
I also want Charlie and Jin to still be alive........but, that's why I'm not a screen writer......I'm too darn predictable.

Oh boy Stephanie, can I ever relate to the deserve to eat treats thing. I am trying to keep it down. It totally sabotaged me earlier this year. Maybe I should think I deserve to lose a couple pounds this week because my treats are HIGHLY overrated LOL!
