Funny thing though is that my weekly low seems to usually fall the day before I am to report with Leigh!!! So I always report the week's low along with that day's weight.

I was thinking that this would happen to me.........so, I'm going to give her the entire week of weights in my email. I want her to know how good I'm doing.......lol
I'm really stoked and hoping my weight sticks, but this week I'm at a new low since working with Leigh. I'm so pleased that I'm back on track with everything.

Thanks so much, Mel. She is doing a wonderful job with all of us, isn't she? I just love the way she trains me. She makes me "get" it.
Today's Workout:
4 straight sets of 14 reps before moving to next exercise w/ no more than 90 secs. between movements and no less than 90 secs. between exercises.
Warm-Up - Cathe's Push-Pull
Foam Lunge/Slide - 4 X 14 reps - Much easier today.....TG!!!
Swiss Ball Rear Delt Flys - 4 X 8lbs.(e)/14 PR
T-Ups - 4 X 14 reps
Band Adductions - 4 X 10bs./14
Reverse Ball Extensions - 4 X 14 reps
Swiss Jackknife - 4 X 14 reps
Band Crunches - 4 X 14 reps
I followed this up with some yoga.
I'm tired! I even took a nap this afternoon. I just feel really spent and I haven't done anything NEAT wise today.........I'm just sort of lounging. I guess I should just go with it since my body is telling me to rest more.

Wow..........Is it me, or was it really hard to workout today due to the humidity in the East??? Yikes......I had to stop twice because my HR was at 96%!!!
Sort of a lazy day today. Tomorrow, I start a 2-week course at a university about 45 mins. away (gas is going to kill me these 2 weeks). I'm really excited because it's always science based. This years theme is health/wellness, diet and nutrition. I'm anxious to see what they say about calories, deficit, etc. and then pound them with what I've learned from Leigh......lol The cool part is we are going to track our activity through Wii Bowling, Baseball, Boxing, Tennis, Walking and Dancing. At least I might not be sitting for 8 hours, every day for 14 days.
I'll miss posting with you all during the day.......that's for sure.
Today's Workout:
Cathe Friedrich - Lower Intensity Step for 40 mins. @ ~83% of max burning 367 calories
I still have to do my Flexibility/Repair work.

Oh, It was so much fun, Martha!!!! I killed my opponents in Wii Tennis!!! LOL I want to get one of those stupid games. I really do. The boxing looks awesome, but DDR looks even better.
I'm most excited about the fact that I was really worried about eating at the dining hall because they make their own baked goods.......picture fresh cakes, cookies, brownies, etc..........Well, with this years theme, they gave us all little food diaries and we are to put in everything we eat for the 2 weeks and then enter them into the Calorie King program. We are comparing the first week's totals as a group to the 2nd week in hopes to bring our calorie counts DOWN! So much for me being the only one trying to avoid the desserts......YAY!!!
Tomorrow they are measuring our heart rates with GLX monitors so we have a true calorie burn when we exercise. And we are required to play the Wii games for 45 mins. solid! How's that for some extra burn??? These 2 weeks may not be as difficult as I had anticipated which makes me veryyyyyyyyyyy happy!
Today is my rest day as I had the class, came home to eat dinner and now I'm off for a hair appointment.

How cool is that? That sounds like my kind of class. We have a Wii and have lots of fun with it and the geek that I am, wears my HRM everytime.
Be sure and report those numbers you get tomorrow. Will they also be able to give you your true target heart rate or anything extra cool, like that?

I see a study posted somewhere in the future about weight loss and Wii sports.
It sounds like fun though, and very cool that everyone will be tracking their food. Definitely means that people will be more careful.

That class sounds like a blast Stephanie! We have a Wii and I got Wii Fit for my birthday this year.... I am totally addicted to it!
I'm really enjoying reading your log... it sounds like we have a lot in common, I agree. What grade do you teach? I teach sixth grade.
I, too, was at the point of "settling" for the weight I was at, which wasn't helped by the fact that people kept saying "You don't need to lose any more... blah blah blah" I had gained about 8 pounds before starting OPT, and I've already lost all of it... today I weighed in at the lowest weight I've reached so far, so I'm totally on the bandwagon again and it feels GREAT! THIS time I'm going to get all the way to my goal weight, once and for all! We'll all be celebrating together!!
