Uh.... 1lb a week is awesome g-friend!!! Congratulations on the downward trend. Just think in 10 years you will weigh -xxxlbs. Seriously, I am very happy for you. My own cut is averaging 1lb a week too.
If you think it should be more than that do not look too lightly at the non-compliance days. One of them uncounted could set you back for a long time. If it is worth it to you then no problem but it might be important for you to assess the real cost of those days and re-assess if that is worth it to you or if you really need to do it.

Thanks, Pauline! Leigh is very encouraging. She told me once again that this is REAL fat.......not just water weight and since I'm eating 40/40/20, I won't gain pounds back immediately when I eat bread or fruit.

This is exactly what Leigh told me today, Karla. She's happy with my overall eating but if I want to buckle down more, I've got to be the one to do it. Honestly, after all the support with Leigh, you guys, and friends at another board.......I've got no way to fail, right? Thanks!
This helps prove it:
I'm losing! That's what I have got to remember and even if it's slow for my tastes, it's coming off and it's a downward trend. I couldn't be more proud of that.

Steph I love the graphic! You are looking fantastic. The best part is it looks like much more than 11 pounds, so I agree that it is real fat.

Thanks, everyone. Leigh sent that to me with my last check-in. Obviously, I'm not centering myself the same for the pictures.......lol Thus the light switch moving across the wall.
I am really excited about that picture because I was so upset at my weightloss. I feel these pictures let me see what the scale is not. Thank-goodness there are other ways to measure success.
This week is a free cardio week. I've been set back a little due to neck issues. I've got a pinched nerve and have been seeing an alternative chiropractor to help with the pain. She said that I have 5-6 knots in my right tapezius and one is the size of a golf ball. That one is pinching the nerve which is causing my upper right arm to elbow become numb. Thankfully, today, I don't have the tingling or the numbness but the burning in my neck is still there. She really worked on it today with deep muscle massage (2nd session) and feels that 2 more times and the knot will be gone. Right now......it's feeling better than it has in 2 weeks.

Hi Stephanie, I've been lurking in your log for awhile and just wanted to jump in and say how great you look. You're doing awesome! I totally get the frustration with the scale and am glad you have Leigh's super cool picture biznass to cheer you on.
I'm glad that the massage therapy helped!!
Also, I wholeheartedly agree that LOST is the best show ever!

Thanks, Marty! The massage therapy is doing wonders. I actually did a kick-ass workout today without even a worry about that pinched nerve. It felt good.
Are you in total LOST withdrawals, too? I miss my guys......lol
Today's workout (Free Cardio Week):
***Cathe Friedrich - Lower Intensity Step - 38 mins. at ~81% burning 338 calories
Oh, how I've missed my step aerobics!!! This was just a blast to do. I didn't forget as much of it as I thought I would, but my feet did get tangled a few times. Love this workout!!

My massage therapist is changing my life!
Have a blast with your cardio week. For fun, wear leg warmers during those step routines

Oh, now that would be quite the mind movie...........lol
I forgot to mention that I have found the most awesome whey protein! I love my ON but I can't drink it with water.......it just tastes bad to me unless I make a shake with milk. Well, with it being so darned hot, I don't want milk at all. So, I went investigating and ordered Syntrax Nectar in Roadside Lemonade and Fuzzy Navel. 1 scoop is 23g. protein, 0 fat, and 0 carbs. OMG is this stuff awesome! The Fuzzy Navel is the best! I mix it in my Silver bullet and then plop about 3-4 ice cubes and it's like I'm drinking Crystal Light. Yummy!

Hi Stephanie,
I just got caught up on your log and wanted to say hi and congrats for the great progress! You really are shrinking and I love that progression pic--maybe if I ever post a pic I'll do the same (providing I shrink, of course). Anyway, keep up the amazing work!
Celeste

Thanks so much, Celeste! I've seen you post on several of the logs that I read, too.....so, I'm honored that you stopped by mine. I think I know how Leigh made the progression photo but I never tried it myself. She does have a way of getting you all excited with things like this.
Look for me to pop into your log, soon!

Stephanie, thanks for the kind comments on my log! It's such a motivation to know others are cheering you on! I'm going to google the Syntax Nectar. Sounds yummy! I usually drink my protein with water and that sounds like a great option.
