Default Neil’s Challenge Log 08

No need for too much waffle, you all know who I am. This is my challenge log for the Men's competition.

My previous log was the 'Road out of Athletico Pathetico'. I achieved my aim of getting into the A team but failed (again) on the weight/bodyfat goal. Since the challenge began I have been working out steadily but not making anywhere near the progress needed to win (or come close to winning) our little bet. More effort is required

I've decided to put my trust in Adam Campbell and utilize his TNT eating plan along with the prescribed exercise plan found within the same - starting with the starter program.

Soccer Game

'A' team game, I was sub and played about 10 mins of a very tight game. We won 2-1. As detailed in my previous log I'm not expecting to play the majority of the time, I'll probably limited to sub appearances like this one. The standard is much higher though and overall my gain will improve much more from training with this team.

TNT Starter Plan (week 1)

Warm Up as per TNT book (mobility work now to be done in the PM)

Workout A

A1= Lunges 2X15X33lbs (each Leg)
A2= Incline DB Bench 2X15X44lbs

B1= Hip Extension 2X15XBW
B2= Seated Row to neck 2X15X33lbs

C1 = Prone Cobra 1X60secXBW (3 raises with 5 sec rests)

Notes

I'll lower the weight on the lunges. I did do 15 reps but took a few little rests along the way, it should be a continuous exercise when changing legs so I’ll lower the weight next time.

The seated row to neck is humbling, much harder than a standard row to the mid chest position

Nutrition - TNT plan A. Going well so far today.

Congrats on making your team. I'm sure working out with better people can only make you that much better, too.

I've never seen anyone do the TNT workout. This will be good to watch. Have "fun."

I didn't know for sure that you'd understand. Apparently everything bad in America gets exported to the UK.

Excellent...

You got enough people rooting for you, it seems. I thought someone might as well root against you.

Heh heh. Nice pun, ya Waffle House freak.

I'm having fun with TNT Plan A myself. Enjoy all that butter and cream!

I had a tooth out today, very painfull and took 1hr20 mins. Dentist told me not to go overboard with exercise today as the gumline would bleed badly.

I just did some Mag Mob today.

That's the kind of socialized medicine we need here in the US.
