Hey Ginger, your workouts are looking great - I think changing it up, resting and trying new stuff only helps. If we look back to January our bodies were like "WTF is she doing?" Now 6 months later it maybe time to rest a little and change it up and have the body go through a "oh she is serious". You are doing great, its a mind game too - time goes so slow when your waiting for a result, hang on tight things will start to change and you will think man what was I so worried about. As long as you are still working out doing something and not totally ignoring your diet, it will all come together. I guess I am just trying to say your doing awesome and your on the right track, keep at it.

Sorry for the long post I was really wanting to ask what your coffee addiction is?

Hi Heather,
Thanks and I know you are right. My coffee addiction is Tim Horton's. Nothing crazily fancy, regular coffee with sweetner and cream.
It just hits the spot.

Default July Updated pictures and Stats

Ok, I can't believe it's time to post pictures, again. I am also comparing the difference between June and July, because it seems that I made some good changes in June, after reading FLTS.

Starting stats
Jan June July Monthly change overall change
Weight 171 168 163 -5 lbs -8lbs
Chest 36 35 34 -1 inch -2 inches
Thigh 22.5 21 21 -0 -1.5
Hips 41 40 39 -1 inch -2 inches
Waist 35 31.5 30.5 -1 inch - 4.5 inches

Oh, and I finally figured out how to resize pictures, so I can put them side-by-side. Yee haw.
Jan Front July Front

Jan Side July Side

Jan Back July Back

Ginger, you've made really great progress even this month . Which of Leigh's programs are you following again? FLTS? (I'm thinking I'm going with that and OPT for Fat Loss next after reading some of the Metabolic Repair and following the directions that say to do the FLTS first.)

Thank you, Karen. Yes, I am following FLTS and doing the workouts from OPT, although I am not doing the workouts as often. I am working up to it, though. First challenge was getting myself used to eating at a deficit, without feeling like I was going to eat off my right arm, LOL and next is factoring in more workouts, beside the cardio. My new theme is "baby steps".. LOL
Still trying to shed the darn fat.

Thanks, Kara. I am working out the kinks and feeling better about it all.

I didn't do an official workout. Went to the park and walked 2 miles and ran some stairs, to spark my hr. Other than that and playing catch up on some house cleaning, that is it.

I'm with everyone else - seeing huge differences between the pictures. It's really amazing the changes over the six months. I think that will be the most interesting part here, seeing the six month differences.

Looks wonderful Ginger!!!

Sometimes I think it's hard to see huge changes in one or 2 months, but 6 months REALLY shows the hard work you've put in here. Way to go!

Thanks, Ladies. I am looking forward to more dramatic changes, now that I feel I have the tools to create them.

Sunday, July 6th
Day off. Took the kids to the pool and got in lots of NEAT, swimming.

Monday, July 7th
Got to the gym this morning for a 35 minute cardio session. 15 minutes on the step mill and 20 on the ARC trainer. It was a struggle.
