I did! Once we took it out of the box we saw the battery had to be charged for 5 hours. I tried to take some shots of my cat this morning, but he wasn't really cooperating. But tonight I will be a picture posting fool!
Check YOU out, Ms. Sexy Thang!!! You are lookin' HAWT in those pants!!!! And your cat is a sweetie!! (Although, I have to admit, when you said you were posting a picture of the love of your life, I thought we'd be seeing a pic of Shawn! )

LOL - I'll be working on that tonight! He doesn't like being photographed, but I bet he'll let me get a few pics of him on our ski trip.
Thanks! I am supposed to be doing a set of drills very shortly. Shawn is making me workout - he says me progress pics will not look as good without some pump.
Today's food:
Breakfast: english muffin w/1 tbls peanut butter, orange
Morning snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/1/2 cup frozen cherries
Lunch: very large salmon fillet, rice pilaf, green beans
Dinner: shrimp stir-fry
After workout: protein shake w/1 scoop protein, water, and ice
Leah, hope you have a fun trip (even though I think you're already gone at this point). Your pictures are GREAT and you're making wonderful progress!
Oh, and I wanted to ask where do I find information on the HELL program and drills?
Thanks Karen - We are actually leaving tonight. I am kind of stressed right now. I guess it would help if I was washing clothes and packing instead of messing around on the internet.

Awesome stats. That seems to be regular. That is what I did. About 2.5 lbs a month. But just LOOK at those inches!
Thanks Kelly! I keep telling myself that slow and steady eventually adds up and should lead to a better result in the end.
Here is the link to the HELL program, designed by Leigh Peele. She specifically states that you should do it as written or don't do it - don't modify. However, since reading and following directions is not my strong point, I use the calorie and protein cycling concept and the drills workout. Mel did the whole thing as written and saw great results!

My goal was 15 min, but this workout is a killer, so at least I did something. I will have to work up to 15 minutes.
Great job, Leah! Your pics are too small for my old eyes but your top half seems to show more definition and your bottom half looks a bit smaller and tighter. Very cool!

Thanks Diane! I am still learning how to size the photos. Hopefully by six months I can get it right!

Hey Tom- I hope your brief trip was good. Here's some pics from my brief trip (with the real love of my life )
I ate and drank beer like it was going out of style the last couple days. Not my proudest moments.
But I'm getting back on track starting today.
Today's food:
Breakfast: Shake w/1 scoop strawberry whey and 1 cup milk, english muffin w/peanut butter
Morning snack: apple and 1 serving mixed nuts
Lunch: green salad, chicken enchilada, rice, black beans
During / after workout: protein shake w/1 scoop cookies & cream, 1/2 cup milk
Dinner: 8 oz broiled strip steak, brussels sprouts and carrots
You are smokin', Leah! My DH has a bike and I am so ready for warm weather to get here, so we can go riding.

Hey Ginger-
I can't wait to get back on my bike! It just makes me feel really great. I think because it was something I wanted to do for a long time and finally overcame my fears.

All of your pictures are great--challenge pics, bike pants, and vacation!
Thanks Karen! I think the thing that bothered me about my eating is that it wasn't just enjoying food and not worrying. It was more like there was a voice in the back of my head saying stuff down as much as you can as fast as you can before you have to go back to dieting!

Isn't FatLoss III a killer? I'm impressed that you have any energy left over to do cardio, I barely made it out the door :-0
You just keep up the great work and those biker pants will be too big for you soon. Are you planning on going to Sturgis?
Toni
Thanks Toni! Fat Loss III is a killer!
We have talked about going to Sturgis, but I don't see us having the time this year, especially to ride our bikes out there. Someday...
I got to the gym around 3:45 yesterday afternoon and it was full of punk-ass high school guys. I will not make that mistake again.
Fat Loss III B2 (One third done, two thirds to go!)
Giant set of front squats, chin-ups, step-ups, dumbbell push press, 60 sec rest after whole set
95/12 small assistance band/9.5 25's/12ea 25's/12
95/12 sm band/7.5 30's/10ea 30's/10
95/10 md band/9 30's/10ea 30's/10
95/10 md band/9 25's/12ea 25/12 - some kid was "using" the 30's - actually he was talking to his buddies the whole time I was doing my sets
I like the bands, but there didn't seem to be a huge difference in the resistance between small and medium. I think I have to hook it around my foot instead of my knee to make it stretch more. I'll have to check out the website again.
Giant set of squats, wide-grip lat pulldown, step-ups, dumbbell shoulder press, 60 sec rest after whole set
No intervals after this one because I was running late! We ended up ordering a pizza because I didn't feel like cooking. That upped my cals to around 2200 for the day.
I am thinking of upping my cals by around 100 per day based on how hungry I feel. I do not want to drive myself to the point where I am triggering a bunch of binges.
Today is a rest day.
Food Plan:
Breakfast: 1/2 serving mixed nuts, smoothie w/1/2 cup milk, 1/2 banana, 1 tbls peanut butter, choc yogurt, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Morning snack: 1 can tuna
Lunch: 8 oz chicken breast w/collards
Afternoon snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/1 cup frozen strawberries
Dinner: frozen meal

Looks like you had some great fun! Love the pics!!
Don't worry about the little indulgences (or the big ones, either!) - as long as you get right back on track, which you are!! Everyone needs to let loose and have some fun now and then!
I'm with you and Ginger on being anxious to ride!! Our bikes are sitting in the garage, just waiting for a nice warm day. I just got my license a year and a half ago - I LOVE it!!!!

Good for you on getting your license. I've had mine for a little over four years. Shawn and I broke up for a couple months and after he left I decided if he didn't come back in a week I was getting a bike to make myself feel better. I got the smallest 650 I could find, a purple Suzuki Savage. I was too scared to ride it home, so I had it delivered to my apartment and then I put on 20 miles in the parking lot practicing my stops and starts and turns. I've pretty much outgrown it now, but I still have to pay on it for one more year.
What do you have?

Hey Karla-
I've got a Suzuki Savage 650. Its kind of unique because its the lightest 650 cruiser out there, around 350 lbs, and it has a single cylinder engine.
I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 500! I'll have to dig up a pic and post it! We used to ride together, and DH had even upgraded his bike - then I decided I was tired of lookin' at the back of his head - and told him I wanted my own bike. I think he thought I was kidding, so he said "Go take the safety course and get your license, and I'll buy you one!" So I did!!! And of course, I made him stick to his end of the deal, too!!
Then, my younger sister got HER license and her hubby bought HER a bike, too! It's been fun to go riding with her, and my uncle, too!

That is awesome! It must be so fun to go with your sister and her husband. My brother and his wife ride sport bikes, but they live in Portland, OR. I rode with them once on a visit.
I used to always ride with Shawn too, but since getting my own bike I am pretty much kicked off the back. He says it doesn't perform the same with two people on it!
