Thanks Ginny! Well since I dont have commentary on here about my life outside of fitness, it may help to tell you I am a people magnet for some reason. Anywhere I go all types of people talk to me, tell me things, share personal secrets, etc... so its not so much that people approach me its the things they decide to ask or comment on while I am in the middle of my workout, that gets me. I always want to ask "have you looked around we are at the gym, I am here to workout! oh and since I am pretending I would throw in a big ole BEOYTCH)

Although, now reflecting on the other gym conversations that could be taking place or questions on athletic issues, unsightly fat, odor problems... I guess i dont mind I just like to post the sillys.

Alright I freaking LAZED the F out today. I was 40 min late to work (Leah decided to play mommy and had my keys and cell in her room in a purse, then running to the car I spilled my morning americano all over my WHITE polo...) Anyways my morning shinanigans cost me my lunch hour workout. Then when I got home I just kinda hung out with the family, not that I intended on making up my missed workout or anything.

I feel lazy lately I dont know why, this is my first official miss but this is a back off week and it has me feeling pretty shitty. Even though I know it was much needed; my shoulders inability to keep up and my wavering legs, I get it I needed a rest. I am DEATHLY afraid I am falling off routine and that I am going to turn back into a pumkin. I am back on Monday to lifting, think it will be a 3 day lift plan again (I think its a bit of power training - Tony's working it out) I just feel off my groove and need it back. Oh and I have big blisters on my hands from doing 100 burpees on rubber mats

I am giggling at what secrets and TMI info people must tell you. LOL

You know, you may have needed this little break. You are not going backwards and not falling off track. You are listening to the aches and pains of your body and doing it some good. Ok? When you do your lifting on Monday it is going to feel good, especially because your body will be recovered.
My daughter has also played mommy and it is always a funny thought when it hits you to go look in their room, for what you are missing. Makenna has about 15 purses in her room and various items that she has taken out of my purse, that she has to have.

9 DB Swings, Burpees
8 DB Swings, Burpees
7 DB Swings, Burpees
6 DB Swings, Burpees
5 DB Swings, Burpees
4 DB Swings, Burpees
3 DB Swings, Burpees
2 DB Swings, Burpees
1 DB Swings, Burpees

DB Swings - were using a 15# DB & reps were each arm.

Default OMG!!!FREAK OUT RANT!!!!

WTF!!!!! Trainers!
Ok I am doing my new workout - from Power Training
I need the squat rack - so i ask the trainer and his trainee if they are using it since she is laying in front of it.
Trainer: "nope, whatchya doin some squats?"
Me: "yep" - readjust headphones to PROVE point
Trainer: "Do you train with us?"
Me: argh.... "No, I have my own plan and am happy with my results."
Trainer: "Oh yeah, okay."
whew - continue new routine
I am now in the middle of a super set of dbincline bench press and push press with oly bar out of breath and he comes back to me....
I will summarize and skip all my out of breath half answers, that he didnt care about anyway
Trainer: "Did you get this out of a book or someone put it together for you?
How many days do you workout? 6??!
all full body workouts?
My clients avg 10 pounds weight loss a month.
I know your working out I will let you continue.
Whats general fitness workouts?
So those are weight days too?
You should schedule with me - we can review what you've been doing and i can critique it.
I know your working out I will let you continue.
you can only gain a pound of mucsle every 4-6 weeks unless you take steroids.
I train trainers.
I can hold a class.
i know the science.
I know your working out I will let you continue.
You could have better results then you have had.
Only part I will listen to:Your squat form is off your not pushing through your heels. /listen
Your squating too heavy you should not be doing low reps and high weight you will widen your hips."
He hit it, he hit my boiling point i shoved my earbuds in my ears, pointed my finger at him and said "WE ARE DONE!"
I wanted to throw weight plates at him - LEAVE ME THE F ALONE!!!!!!!!
I just want to workout and you are ruining it.

I will post my work out later.

This is the part I don't get. He's pretty much bothering you while you're working out, and he thinks this will encourage you to sign up with him? I can maybe see him coming back at the end, during say a cool down period. I mean, I understand they make their living by selling training hours, but still.

I agree with Jane, buy the shirt. You don't even have to wear it. If he comes back again just ask him to pass it over to you.

Wow... I don't know WHY you didn't drop everything and beg him to train you right there and then

But hey - be careful - you really don't want to risk those wide hips from squatting heavy

No lunch workout - I wasnt looking forward to facing the jack ass so I'd have to say my decision to work through lunch was an easy one.

Todays Workout (at home in our friendly gym)
Circuit done 4 times thru
Burpees x 30sec
Jumping Jacks x 30 sec
Split Jumps x 30 sec
Squats x 30sec
Jumping jacks x 30 sec
Burpees x 30 sec

I was out of breath and burnin! After this I ran soccer drills up and down our yard with my older son. We were doing them for time - so basically it equals 40 sec sprints with 1 min rest. Felt good I could do it with him.

Then I kicked his scrawny ass with a squat & jumping jacks circuit then he ran himself some more sprints!!!!! My neighbors must think I am evil! Will you think I am evil too if I tell you all he was almost crying saying "my legs... they are burning mommy"...hahahahahahaha

Today's Workout
This one is going to hurt later....

3 x 5 Jump Squats w/10# each hand
3 x 10 - BW Single Leg back extensions - (10 each leg)
2 x 10 @ 80# (too heavy) 1 x 10 @ 70# Bent over rows
3 x 10 @ 35# One Armed PullDowns
3 x 45 sec Dynamic Planks

Good workout. The Back extensions were BRUTAL. I could barely finish the sets, and the last two reps I had to use two legs. Then as I was walking away from the machine I had this funny sensation - like i had no legs. LMAO I seriously felt like i was floating over to my next exercise I had no sensation in the legs. It came back quickly and painlessly. But I have a feeling about that one...and its not good.

So I asked another female gym goer if she has had problems with the eh hem "trainers" she has not. Although she had a session with the goober who got fired (she said he killed her during the workout- oh so typical) but she said other than that they leave her be. Must be if you enter the free weight zone the sensors go off. Or sumthin!

Okay I took a mini break this weekend; my ankle is bothering me and I let it have a couple days full rest. I worked through the workout today no problem, it just hurts to have it touched??! Weird but I can put weight on it - just dont touch it - anyone have any ideas? Its a little swollen and no outward bruise just hurts to touch the inside ankle bone and a 1/4 of the way up the shin bone.

Gotta check my challenge requirements??!! Did I say pictures bleh...

Yesterday - blah
Cardio - steady state 25 min

Today's Workout
Squat Jumps 3 x 5 @ BW
Squats 3 x 10 @ 105
DB Incline B.P. 3 x 10 @ 25/e
Push Press 3 x 10 @ 55 (oly bar +10)
Planks :45, :35, :45

OUCH. Not a new workout, the way this plan is structured it takes a while to get back to what you have already done, so instead of an A and B this is A, B,C and D. Pretty cool, yet freakishly pain invoking. Confidence is high because you are thinking yeah - I ve done this then you start and your body is like Shit! We are doing this again?!

Missed yesterday's workout - busy at work, then even more busy at home well technically running children to sports and such.

Today's Workout
Jump Squats 3 x 5 @ 10#/e
Single Leg RDL w/DB 3 x 10 @ 15#/e
Bent Over Row 3 x 10 @ 70#
Single Arm Pull Down 3 x 10 @ 30#
Dynamic Planks 1:00, :45, :45

Okay - can i first tell you how hot it is its only 78 degrees but 76% humidity up to 100% when it would rain. Our garage gym has natural A/C which meant today there was NONE! I was dripping, I had to even use chalk to hold on to stuff.

This was a good workout - at home I find I try harder b/c I can make an exasperated noise not freakishly loud but the gym I visit is small I wouldnt DARE. I couldnt lift my shoulders to even put my hands on my hips after this workout...oh the burn.

I took Pics today I just need to do my measurements and I will post my monthly checkin.

Today's Workout
Jump Squats 3 x 5 @ BW
Step Ups 3 x 10 @ 15/e
Alt DB Press 3 x 10 @ 15/e
Push ups 3 x 10
Side Planks 3 x 3 sec each side

Thank you EVERYONE for your positive words!!!! I really appreciate everyone's encourgement!

A funny side note I had to take my weddingring to be resized and went to pick it up,... still to big so instead not only can i say I lost two pant sizes I lost two ring sizes!!! LOL

I can't wait till this year is up - I am starting to really hate working out at the gym. Beween the trainer and him lame ass advice and the stares from the uber buff, I am finished. I love my home gym!

Today's Workout
Jump Squats 3 x 5 @ 12#/e
RDL 3 x 10 @ 95#
Single Arm Cable Rows 3 x 10 @ 25 (better rom at this wgt)
Assisted Pullups 3 x 10 @ 55# (feeling weaker on these)
Planks :45, 1:00, :45

Felt good - aside from the weak pullups they are so tough. I breezed through the RDL, guess those one legged reps made me stronger!

Scale is at a new low - 149. First time it has flickered under 150. Havent been in the 140 range since 1998! Pretty Exciting!

Thank you! Hopefully the scale keeps trending down.

Today's Workout
30 Min on the Bike (sit up one)
I had it on the Random setting so it kept it challenging.
Had me sweating a ton, felt good but left me drained of my energy,...coffee is my friend.
