Congrats on the clothes and lost inches!!! I LOVE that swimsuit! Even in my hardbody days, I'd wear a one-piece suit and a big tank top over the top of it. I'm such a wuss. LOL

I'm going to VEGAS!

We leave in 3 weeks, so naturally I am FREAKING out about what I'm gonna wear. I'm going with 3 other girls, and we are all FREAKING out of course!

I wish I had a little more time to get rid of some of my bf, but for now, I'm upping my cardio (from 1 spin class a week) to 3-4 times per week. I did HIIT cardio today which was sorta fun. Considering I hate cardio for cardio-sake. I'm fine if I'm training for something. (Which, BTW, still doesn't look good for summer. I walked for 12 minutes on the TM yesterday at 2.5 mph. Getting better, but not good enough for a triathlon!)

I bought a cute new dress on eBay today.

The length is 16" from the waist. I measured it on me and it should be just above the middle of my thigh. Yeah, I'm a tall girl! AND I need to get Spanx!

This week is my week off between FL I and FL II. It's been a nice break! I tried a kick-boxing class last night. It really didn't feel like I was doing much, but when I woke up this morning, I felt like my body was about 100 years old!

Tomorrow, is HIIT. Then I'm off to VS to buy my skull swimsuit. I am so jacked for that! I think I'll start doing my progress pics in it!

What is Spanx?? Because you just know where my mind is going with that...

Congrats on going to Vegas! I lived there for a couple of years back in my swinging single days and it was an absolute blast!

Love me some Spanx. They rock.

Yay you on going to Vegas. I have only been once (April of last year, waah!) and I just loved it so much.

Your progress pictures look great and you are going to rock that dress.

A few things.

1. Got my dress today. Boobs are too big and I can't zip up the last inch or so. Good problem to have! The dress looks HOT and I'm gonna take it to a tailor to see if they can let it out just a smidge. I'll take a pic and post soon!

2. Today was the day that I wanted to meet my mini-goal. Well, I can put the pants on and it's comfy around the waist. The thighs are a little uncomfy, so I didn't wear them today. BUT, I did wear a pair of pants that I haven't worn since Nov 2006! Yeah!

3. New mini-goal: Wear my pants fo sho by April 7. That's a little under a month, plus it gives me time to eat clean again when I get back from Vegas.

4. Must remember to wear weight-lifting gloves. My hands are turning into those of a carpenter!

5. Today was first workout of FL - II. Yep, it kicked my ass.

6. Tomorrow, I think I'm gonna do this "hard core" class. It's all working your core using stability balls. The last time I did it, I couldn't laugh the next day. Then, HIIT.

I am sick. I haven't worked out at all since Monday. I am so congested and have horrible body aches. This sucks. Bad.

Better than getting sick in 2 weeks when I go to VEGAS!

Well, today is the first day I don't feel like complete ass. My nose is still a faucet and I keep sneezing, but my body aches for the most part are gone. I missed 4 workouts last week. So tomorrow, I am just going to pick up where I left off. I did the first workout of FL-II last Monday, so tomorrow, I'll do the 2nd.

I noticed my diet became crap once I got sick. Ice cream felt so good on my throat. I ate a 1/2 gallon over 4 days. Of course, that made me feel more like crap.

I'm off to do my nails now. That always makes me feel better!

You'll be back in da game soon enough! By the way, my hubby is on the same workouts as you are now, I think. He was mumbling something about 'that dang FL II !"

I still haven't made it to the gym - I still feel like ass. But I just spent a bunch of money on clothes for Vegas, so that makes me feel better!

My new plan is to get back to the gym by Thursday. I have an after work function tomorrow, so Thursday it is!

Well, I'm back. So much has happened since I was here last. If you scroll back to page 2 of my log, you'll see where I hurt my foot in Jan. Dr told me it wasn't broken. I finally went to a podiatrist on July 1, and my foot IS broken! I've been walking around with a broken foot for 6 months! And I did a triathlon and a 10k.

So, my tri days are done for the summer, and I'm back to weights. I joined the August 4 challenge, and I'm excited to be back here!

Holy sheep! Welcome back. I am stunned that you have been dealing with a broken foot for that long and doing what you have done!
Glad you are in the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by GinnyLou! I'm so glad to be back.

I have a little more time now, so I thought I'd write more. I ended up breaking up with that boyfriend that I was writing about in my previous posts. I realized that we have 2 very different lifestyles and they weren't meshing at all. He insisted on smoking, eating crappy food, and going out to the bars ALL the time. I was trying to deal with it, but I got sick of it. Of course there were other things, but the mismatch in lifestyles is really what did it. We were together 3 years, and he put on 70 pounds in the last 2. Of course, after I broke up with him, he started popping Hydroxycut and lost all the weight. Again with the mismatch in lifestyles.

I had my wisdom teeth out in May. It's been a battle ever since. I ended up with a dry socket. Then after the swelling went down, I found a stitch that was left in. Then, one of my gums started getting infected. Now, last week, my jaw started swelling up. I went back for the 4th time to the oral surgeon and now I have a granuloma which is a mass of tissue. So, he had to cut that out and I'm in a lot of pain. I don't think I'm going to work tomorrow because I'm on painkillers. I am seriously having a streak of bad luck.

I go back to the dr on August 5th for my foot. With any luck, I'll be able to start running again. Or at least not have to wear this stupid boot. That's just in time for the new women's challenge.

I'm trying so hard to stay positive right now with all the things going on with my body. I am SOOOOOO thankful that this is temporary, and I'm not dealing with something more serious like cancer or something. It just seems like it's one thing after another lately, and it's wearing me down! I need something to be excited about again!

I started dating a new guy, and things are going very well with him. We are very similar in so many ways. More about him later though. But, he does share the same healthy lifestyle I have!

Oh, and PS. VEGAS ROCKED. That was one of the best weekends of my life. I have never spent the weekend away with girlfriends before and we had sooooooo much fun. I can't even begin to tell you!

Today was spent sleeping. I am taking painkillers for my jaw right now, and they knock me out! I'm waiting til about 8:00 to take another so I can get a few things done around here!!

In between pain killers today, I started putting together a list of protein shakes. I tried one tonight that was good. Just chocolate PP, PB, cocoa, ice, water, and flax seeds. It was YUMMY. But anything with PB is yummy. I also found a blender that I want to buy from Target so that I can have a small blender at work. I don't know how much I'll use it, but it's nice to have the option.

It's back to work tomorrow. I think I'm just going to take this week off working out. I can't seem to do anything without hurting myself lately, so I'm off til Sunday. Sunday will be a good day for a swim.
